  • San Francisco cable car screeches to a halt, injuring 14 people
    Investigators are trying to figure out how a San Francisco cable car suddenly came to a stop injuring 14 people on board. A gas explosion at a fuel station in San Francisco shut down a portion of the city’s Mission District on Monday evening. San Francisco city agencies will be working closely together on traffic safety initiatives under a directive signed by Mayor Daniel Lurie on Monday. Metered street parking on Sundays are usually free in Oakland, but those days are about to come to a close. The Trump Administration has axed plans to transform the former Alameda Naval Air Station into a VA outpatient clinic and columbarium. It’s a nearly 400-million-dollar project that’s been a decade in the making. Families are spending more money on their children's behavioral health needs to include mental health and substance abuse. The tributes continue to pour in following the death of acclaimed Director Rob Reiner and his wife Michelle.
