- Hi angels!!
Told ya we’d be back for a Part 2!! Today is a continuation of us telling you our fullllll origin story. It’s another gorgeous little trot down memory lane, picking up from our decision to make our first ever comedy show together and tracked all the way through what we’ve been up to for the last 4 years or so.
We tell you all about our comedy shows, touring, failed opening nights, big mistakes, going international, finding our audience and how we got started in podcasting. Pretty much everything that’s lead up to where we are today!
We hope you enjoy this nostalgic deep dive as much as we did, and hopefully it answers some questions about who the hell we are and what it is we love to do together!
We will see you for another Ratbag on Monday, and wishing you love and cheese cubes wherever you are in the world this Ratfood day.
Okay! Love you, bye!
xx

The original custodians of this land have had a rich history of storytelling for over 65,000 years, and we pay our respects to the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin nation whose land we are recording Ratbag on.

Welcome to another episode of ‘Ratbag’ and to kick us off we open with a collection of the biggest blunders people have made at work. Then we have a write in from a rat who asks us an impossible ‘would you rather?’ Involving potato’s and some impossible tits. Then we have a rapid fire theatre kick ons before ending the ep to the sweet tune of country. Thanks as always for listening!
See you on Thursday for another ‘Ratfood!’

Today is a really special episode. We are taking a gorgeous little trot down memory lane to tell you the story (in depth this time!) of how we met and how we came to be creative partners in life!
We tell you everything about how we met, our first impressions of each other, the exactitudes of how we first became collaborators and where it all started (spoiler alert, it was 2018).
We also touch on our first cabaret ideas, Sam being Mel’s agent, our oddly parallel experiences at music school and so much more.
We hope you enjoy this nostalgic deep dive as much as we did, and hopefully it answers some questions about who the hell we are and what it is we love to do together!
We will see you for another Ratbag on Monday, and wishing you love and cheese cubes wherever you are in the world this Ratfood day.

Welcome to your platter full of ratfood for the day. It’s a gorgyyy giggly one today as we bop all around the place chatting about what has been happening on tour in Adelaide with Heathers.
We chat the best thing Mel’s been given at stage door as well as a disastrous story involving Mel’s Type B attitude and a corporate email gone wrong.
We are also joined by Abigail Sharp for a swift moment who shares with us her fave tiktokking tips and her adoration of a certain local Adelaide pasta chain.
And we also go innn chatting everything about Yve Blake’s brand new show ‘Mackenzie’ that has just opened in Melbourne and dissect what we love about this piece most!
We will see you for another Ratbag on Monday, and wishing you love and cheese cubes wherever you are in the world this Ratfood day.
Okay! Love you, bye!
