Slackin' Off With Hardon
*NOTE FROM JAKE RAZOR: I thought this got posted here last week. Patreon is supposed to post it here too when I mark an episode as "public". But I guess it didn't so here it is. If anyone know how to do this better and/or knows how to open PDF, plz advise*
A relaxed recap regarding rousing renditions ... eh nah I'm not doing an allitteration thing, you don't care that much. But this is a "chill" episode for sure. But we talk about some actual topics:
John Joseph's slanderous nonsense regarding RAYBEEZ
The SIX FEET UNDER gig Gary and Tyler saw (and the opening bands)
Plus some other things. We hope you enjoy - apologies for posting this over 12 hours later than we typically aim for.

Album Spotlight: Angry Samoans 'Back from Samoa'
The KOPPOD Troika starts the show with extended-length musings regarding the death of David Lynch and other hot topics, then move on to their review of LA Punk Rock classic 'Back from Samoa' by the ANGRY SAMOANS. Includes examination of the ANGRY SAMOANS' METAL MIKE SAUNDERS and GREGG TURNER's rock critic priors, a listen to their prior band VOM (featuring RICHARD MELTZER on vocals) assessment of their sound in relation to their contemporaries, and recaps of inter-band comment-section feuds on defunct websites.

Tallyin' the Score for 1984
A long time ago, the KINGS did an episode focusing on the year 1979 from a subculture point-of-view; important albums, trends in underground music, plus some signature KOPPOD japes and musings. In THIS episode, the KOPPOD TROIKA does the same thing but for 1984! Well, more or less the same thing. Featuring some historical context, some editorials from Maximum Rock 'n' Roll, some personal favorites, and the introduction of BLOGSPOT HC as a good genre. KOPPOD analyzes the evolution and fragmentation of punk and hardcore in the Year 1984, and speculate about parallels one might find today.

Legacy of ... Rudimentary Peni (Part 1)
Rudimentary Peni charted a lonesome path through corners of the human psyche seldom explored on punk rock records. Their singularmystique and style makes them a no-brainer 'Legacy of...' candidate - and it arrives hot on the heels of our 'Intro to... Outsider Music' episode. This episode surveys the first phase of Rudimentary Peni's tenure, from their debut EP through 1988's 'Cacophony' LP.
Part 2 for Patreon subscribers arrives within a couple weeks.
