From the vault: in light of Nathan Cleary’s horror compound lower leg fracture in the Prelim Final, we’re re-visiting Brien’s 2022 chat with former Broncos, Maroons and Kangaroos winger Jharal Yow Yeh.

In 2012, Jharal suffered a compound fracture dislocation of his right ankle against Souths, an injury doctors compared to a motor vehicle accident. He talks through the night it happened, 10 surgeries, his comeback attempt, and what it taught him.

Brien (NRL Physio) is joined by NSW Health Minister Ryan Park to unpack NSW becoming the first place in the world to make Motor Neurone Disease notifiable: what it means, what data gets collected, whether it can help find a cause, and what it's been like working with Jai.

Plus a quick MND explainer and some Dragons therapy for the Minister.
