As a researcher, Aniket had to review and analyze a lot of dense text, which all the way back in 2006, made him think: why can’t this be easier?Graduating with a PhD, Aniket continued to work as a scientist, but couldn’t shake that idea. He eventually went to business school and, in 2018, met his to-be business partner to start tinkering with AI-based tech to synthesize dense text-based documentation.After a few failed attempts, they landed on Legal. He moved back to the US at the age of 17 to attend college, and interestingly, through that experience, came to understand what it felt like to be an immigrantHis experience and Spanish skills led him to attend law school and ultimately become an immigration lawyer. He was immediately successful with his own firm, but over time felt that existing immigration tech platforms weren’t good enough.
