AFL Fantasy 2026 – Round 18 Review | Ed Allan 2G4P, Ruck Lobbster & Streaming Van Rooyen

    13/07/2026 | 51 mins.
This week Heff is joined by Warnie (Traders and DT Talk) to review Round 18 of the 2026 AFL Fantasy season from a draft and keeper league perspective.
Ed Allan is one of the biggest stories of the round and has officially entered 2G4P territory. After continuing to show promising signs at AFL level, we discuss his role, scoring potential and whether he can become a reliable fantasy option rather than another short-term tease. With Allan attracting more waiver claims than any other available player this week, how aggressively should coaches be pursuing him?
Rory Lobb is back on the fantasy radar thanks to his move into the ruck. The “Ruck Lobbster” role has given him a clear scoring boost, but how long will it last, and what happens when the Western Bulldogs’ other ruck options return? We assess whether he is worth a significant waiver bid and whether he can be trusted on the field.
Jacob van Rooyen also demands attention following his six-goal performance. While the ceiling was impressive, key forwards can be difficult to rely on in fantasy. We look at whether his recent form makes him a genuine option or whether he is better used as a matchup-dependent streamer.
We also work through the other popular names on this week’s waiver wire, including Rhylee West, Joel Fitzgerald, Mason Wood, Cameron Zurhaar, Harry Morrison, Flynn Riley, Marcus Herbert, Riley Hardeman, Will Brodie, Matthew Cottrell, Luke Nankervis and more.
    As always, it’s about working out what’s real, what’s role-driven, and what’s just a one-week spike.
If you're playing draft and keeper leagues, this episode is packed with the insights you need to stay ahead of the curve.

AFL Fantasy 2026 - Round 17 Review | Zeke Brings Heat, Karl Worner 2G4P & All Aboard Addinsall

    06/07/2026 | 49 mins.
This week Heff is joined by Jake from Hat Chat to review Round 17 of the 2026 AFL Fantasy season from a draft and keeper league perspective.
Zeke Uwland was the headline act of the round, exploding for a massive 146 points for Gold Coast. With 32 disposals, 16 marks and a half-back role that looks to suit him perfectly, owners are finally being rewarded. We dig into whether this role is here to stay, what the Rioli injury means, and whether the Gulden comparisons are starting to make sense.
Karl Worner was another huge story after putting up 108 points for Fremantle. With 29 disposals, 10 marks and a role across half-back that continues to deliver, he has officially hit 2G4P territory. We discuss whether he has become a genuine fieldable defender and what his strong recent form means for keeper league coaches.
Beau Addinsall was another exciting name from the Suns, scoring 86 from just 67% time on ground. He ran through the midfield, looked comfortable at the level, and appears to be making the most of his opportunity. We look at where he sits compared to the other young Gold Coast options and whether coaches should be getting on board.
There’s also plenty more to get through, including Oliver Francou, Noah Mraz, Jacob van Rooyen, Cooper Harvey, Jagga Smith, Edward Allan, Mattaes Phillipou, Darcy Byrne-Jones, Patrick Dangerfield, Ned Moyle and more.
    As always, it’s about working out what’s real, what’s role-driven, and what’s just a one-week spike.

AFL Fantasy 2026 - Round 16 Review | Lai Hard, Cumming of Age & Uwland’s On His Feet

    29/06/2026 | 36 mins.
This week Heff is joined by original co-host of The Keeper League Podcast, Kaes, to review Round 16 of the 2026 AFL Fantasy season from a draft and keeper league perspective.
Sam Cumming was one of the most encouraging names of the round after spending the day in the Richmond midfield. With 21 CBAs and an 83-point score, he’s starting to look like a genuine fantasy player of the future. We discuss whether this is the start of something coaches can properly buy into, or if we still need to see a bit more.
Josh Lai also caught the eye for Port Adelaide. He hasn’t quite put the fantasy numbers together yet, but there are signs there. With 10 marks from just 13 disposals, he showed he can intercept and find the ball in the right spots, so we look at whether there’s something developing from a keeper league point of view.
Zeke Uwland put up his best score of the season for Gold Coast, finishing with 86 from a half-back role. It was his first score above 70 for the year, so we dig into whether the role has changed, whether the score is repeatable, and what to make of his upcoming matchup against Collingwood.
There’s also plenty more to get through, including Rhyan Mansell, Cooper Harvey, Patrick Retschko, Cooper Trembath, Billy Wilson, Sam Durham, Karl Worner, Blake Hardwick, James Rowbottom and more.
    As always, it’s about working out what’s real, what’s role-driven, and what’s just a one-week spike.

AFL Fantasy 2026 Round 15 Review | Murray Magic, Nanky Panky & Get Keane?

    22/06/2026 | 41 mins.
This week Heff is joined by Aaron Bryans from Grandstand SA to review Round 15 of the 2026 AFL Fantasy season from a draft and keeper league perspective.
Jai Murray was one of the big names of the round after another eye-catching performance for Adelaide. With the Crows continuing to give us plenty to think about from a fantasy point of view, we look at whether Murray’s role and scoring are starting to become something coaches can properly buy into.
Luke Nankervis also put his hand up again, giving fantasy coaches another Crows-related headache to sort through. He’s shown enough to be on the radar, but we discuss whether this is a short-term spike, a role worth trusting, or something that could have longer-term keeper league appeal.
Mark Keane is another one we need to talk about after scoring well in his first game back from injury. He’s a key defender, which always makes him a bit harder to trust in fantasy, but he has put up good scores in the past, so it’s tempting. We discuss whether there’s enough there to take the punt, or if coaches should be careful chasing points in that type of role.
There’s also plenty more to get through, including Hugo Hall-Kahan, Cooper Trembath, Tom Brown, Beau Addinsall, James Trezise, Max Michalanney, Neil Erasmus, Darcy Byrne-Jones, Blake Acres and more.
    As always, it’s about working out what’s real, what’s role-driven, and what’s just a one-week spike.

AFL Fantasy 2026 - Round 14 Review | Hugo A-Go-Go, Debut Demon & Sonsie Soars

    15/06/2026 | 45 mins.
This week Heff is joined by Zanks to review Round 14 of the 2026 AFL Fantasy season from a draft and keeper league perspective.
Tyler Sonsie was one of the standout names of the round after putting up 98 points against Brisbane. With Richmond continuing to throw up useful scores from wing and half-forward types, we look at whether Sonsie’s role is something coaches can actually trust, or if this is another Tigers spike that might be hard to rely on.
Hugo Hall-Kahan also impressed again for Adelaide, scoring 75 from 23 disposals in just his second game. He looked clean with ball in hand, used it well going inside 50, and appears to have found a role that could build nicely from here. We discuss what that means for his fantasy value, and whether he can become more than just a short-term watch.
Joel Fitzgerald was the debut demon after scoring 83 in his first game for Melbourne. With Caleb Windsor out, Fitzgerald stepped straight into the midfield mix, attended 14 CBAs and found 26 disposals in an impressive first-up performance. We discuss whether that role can hold when Windsor returns, or if this was more of a short-term opportunity created by Melbourne’s current injuries.
There’s also plenty more to get through, including Tom Blamires, Cooper Harvey, Zac Taylor, Sam Banks, Jai Murray, Logan McDonald, Joe Richards, Shannon Neale, Ned Moyle and more.
    As always, it’s about working out what’s real, what’s role-driven, and what’s just a one-week spike.
