- Tudor England is often thought of as overwhelmingly white. But in fact, people of African descent had a far greater presence than has previously been recognized.
We're joined for this episode by Dr. Onyeka Nubia. Dr. Nubia's original research shows that Tudors from many walks of life regularly interacted with people of African descent, both at home and abroad, revealing a genuine pragmatism towards race and acceptance of difference.
