Frank sacked by Spurs - where does this leave the relegation battle?

    11/02/2026 | 49 mins.
It's a midweek Totally Extra and Jimbo is joined by Jay Harris, Carl Anka, Liam Twomey & JJ Bull to discuss the midweek fixtures.

David Ornstein broke the news this morning that Spurs have sacked Thomas Frank after 8 months in charge. It was no wins in 8 games in the league for Frank's injury-stricken side and the final straw was another home defeat at the hands of Newcastle, with the familiar boos ringing out at full time. Where did it go wrong for the Dane and who will replace him?

Relegation-battling Leeds came back from two goals down to draw 2-2 against their long time rivals Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. Man Utd were also held by relegation scrapping West Ham to deny Carrick's side 5 wins in a row, with Benjamin Sesko rescuing a point late on.

Bournemouth made it 6 games unbeaten beating Everton 2-1 with their impressive new Brazilian winger Rayan scoring again.

Plus the latest from Leicester and why not everyone wants Hearts to win the Scottish Premiership.

Produced by Charlie Jones and Jesse Howard.

    09/02/2026 | 1h 7 mins.
Jimbo has Daniel Storey, Tim Spiers and Reuben Pinder for company after an action-packed Matchday 25 in the Premier League.

Man City looked to be crashing out of the title race thanks to Dominik Szoboszlai’s outrageous free-kick. But late goals from Bernardo Silva and Erling Haaland keep the gap to leaders Arsenal at 6 points. What was going on with City’s disallowed 3rd goal? And what’s going on with Liverpool who stay 6th?

Man United make it 4 wins out of 4 under Michael Carrick with a 2-0 win against Spurs, for whom Cristian Romero receives the 6th red card of his Tottenham career.

It was a great weekend for West Ham at the bottom who beat Burnley while Nottingham Forest were taken apart at Leeds, halving the gap between Forest and the Hammers.

Totally Extra: Leeds living the Champions League dream

    07/02/2026 | 1h 13 mins.
Jimbo is joined by Duncan Alexander, Amitai Winehouse and Richard Sutcliffe to open up the Totally Extra Almanac on the Ridsdale era Leeds United.

Local businessman Peter Ridsdale became chairman of his hometown club in 1997 and took them on a 6 year rollercoaster. They were 90 minutes away from the Champions League final, 3 seasons later they were relegated and 6 seasons later they were in League One.

In their pomp, David O'Leary had a fantastic young team featuring the likes of Harry Kewell, Ian Harte, Lee Bowyer, Jonathan Woodgate, Rio Ferdinand and the lethal strike duo of Alan Smith and Mark Viduka. They went toe to toe with European powerhouses Barcelona, Milan, Real Madrid and Lazio in an unforgettable 18 game European run.

So where did it all go wrong? And was it worth it? The panel ponder whether they were just unlucky with the timing of their financial mishaps.
