With five more national finals, we've made it to the end of the super Saturdays until 2027, but not without first covering Romania's Selecția Națională, the San Marino Song Contest, Poland's Krajowych Kwalifikacji, Sweden's Melodifestivalen, and Portugal's Festival da Canção. And our beloved Oscar is across the pond this week, so we're instead joined by our Eurovision-obsessed neighbor to the north, Worldvishawn, to talk about what we liked and what we didn't. Jeremy doesn't think one song is all that Bellissima, Shawn finds Portugal to be just a little too chill, and Dimitry revels in the madness that is San Marino.

This Super Saturday almost knocked us out, but we've got a super-sized episode covering SIX national finals: Lithuania's Eurovizija.LT, Norway's Melodi Grand Prix, Finland's UMK, Serbia's Pesma za Evroviziju, Germany's Das Deutsche Finale, and of course, Italy's Sanremo. It's a lot of show to get through, but we've got six new winning songs, including one that feels like it could... go... all... the... way! Jeremy demands a moratorium on dessert songs, Dimitry is ready to rise up, and Oscar refuses to be screeched at by old Italian men.

It just wouldn't be Eurovision season without a visit to the doctor: Dr. Ella Hubber from Let's Learn Everything. The good doctor joins us once again, heroically watching nine hours of national finals to comment on this week's contests, including what might be the worst song of the year (so far). Jeremy is ready to bust out his dance license, Dimitry's got snowballs in his pockets, Ella is all in on an emo f-boy, and Oscar lives fast but his hips move slow.

The national finals start coming fast and furious from here on out, so all our Saturdays will be super for the next weeks. We've got Estonia's Eesti Laul, Latvia's Supernova and Denmark's Melodi Grand Prix this week, with three new winners and a lot of previous competitors coming back for a chance at glory. Jeremy identifies a new type of mom song, Dimitry nearly swears off his status as a Stanmark for Denmark, and Oscar's ravin' at the Taj Mahal.

We're back to national final season, and boy, is it a good one. Ukraine's Vidbir is here, and with it, a veritable wave of Eurovision royalty: Jamala, Zlata Ognevich, Jerry Heil, Ziferblat, Monokate... it's a veritable cornucopia of ESC talent. Jeremy likes it when things get just a little Jesus-y, Dimitry is exposed as a Ruslana simp, and Oscar's looking for Mr. Vel.
