Keepin' It Cricket

AB de Villiers joins Keepin' It Cricket for The Player Who.
The Proteas great reveals the player he idolised as a kid, the calmest batting partner he ever had (and it's not who you'd expect), and the scariest bowler he faced in the nets, one a teammate flat-out refused to bat against. Plus the Aussie quick who really didn't like him, the bowlers who hurt his gloves most, the IPL youngster he loves watching now, and his pick for the best wicketkeeper ever, with Hadds and Heals sitting right there.

AB de Villiers joins Hadds, Heals and Adam Peacock on the Keepin' It Cricket couch ahead of the South Africa vs Australia Test series.
AB explains how Steve Smith will be received in South Africa, and names him and Joe Root as the most irritating batters he faced. He also discusses Keshav Maharaj's threat, why SA pitches are suddenly turning, and whether Marnus can turn his form around in the country he was born in. He looks back on the 2008 Perth win and on the IPL, and gets back to batting basics.
Plus Heals' juice cleanse (blame David Warner), a big week for Coach Hadds, and a barefoot plane conundrum.

Mitchell Starc joins Heals and Adam for a rapid-fire round on The Player Who... and this one gets personal. He reveals who's actually hit him for the biggest six of his career, opens up on his wicket-keeping idol growing up, and breaks down four of his most satisfying dismissals. Plus the real flight risk in the Australian change room, the story behind "Who's Allen?", and — no surprises here — Travis Head takes out life of the party.

Mitch Starc is back on the pod with Adam and Heals before flying out to join the Aussie squad in South Africa. He talks facing old IPL mates and previews SA conditions, unloads on the BBL sell-off and what it means for the WBBL, and makes his case for why one-day cricket still matters. Plus Hadds previews NSW's One Day Cup opener, we wrap Australia's Zimbabwe series, and dig into Harry Brook's white-ball form, Kevin Pietersen's new England gig and the county cricket relegation drama.

Pat Cummins is back — this time for Player Who. His favourite dismissal? Joe Root — and the reason behind it isn't the one you'd expect.
Elsewhere, hidden talents in the squad finally get outed (there's a surprisingly good darts story), we find out who's landed the biggest six of Pat's career, and there's a genuinely funny one from his rookie days. Pat also weighs in on who the most intelligent teammate he's played with actually is and a captain he admires.
