Club chiefs are now understood to be weighing up whether to axe him before Tuesday’s Champions League clash with Borussia Dortmund. Spurs’ hierarchy, previously steadfast in their support of the Dane, registered the scale of the furious fan reaction to Saturday’s 2-1 home defeat to West Ham.

Senior figures are understood to be keen to take the temperature of Frank’s squad to assess if there is still internal support for the former Brentford boss. But there is a growing sense that the Dane cannot restore any authority and that the best move for all parties could be to bring his miserable seven-month reign to an end swiftly.

We discuss when Spurs are likely to make the decisions in addition to who will steady the ship on an interim basis and who the panel would like to be the next permanent manager of the football club.

In a typically frenetic derby clash at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, a thumping second-half header from skipper Cristian Romero had cancelled out Crysencio Summerville’s early deflected opener for the visitors. But, despite plenty of pressure on the Hammers’ goal, we were unable to find the winner and instead, Callum Wilson netted a close-range strike to snatch the points and end their 10-game losing streak.

We discuss where this leaves the future of Thomas Frank and whether he can survive this latest London derby defeat and manner of the performance.

Host Ricky Sacks is joined by Billie T, Connor via The Whistle Blow and Luke from Spotlite On Spurs as we discuss Tottenham Hotspur closing in on the signing of Conor Gallagher from Atletico Madrid. Gallagher is expected to fly to England on Tuesday to undergo medical and finalise details on five-and-half year contract.

An agreement reached between Spurs & Atleti is for a fee over a €40M, Aston Villa also held a strong interest in Gallagher, however no agreements were reached amid their desire to maintain financial discipline. Always open to both moves, but Gallagher understood to want to return to London and believes he'll get more starts at Spurs. Spurs hijacked the deal on Monday afternoon after getting encouragement from player camp.
