My Bigfoot Sighting

Tonight’s guest, Wes Ruth, had all of his Sasquatch sightings in Southern Ohio. He’s a BFRO investigator and is also a member of the Northern Kentucky Bigfoot Research Group. What’s ironic about Wes is the fact that he used to be such a skeptic, when it came to the existence of cryptids, including Sasquatch. That all changed, however, after Wes started to have experiences that he couldn’t explain away as being with anything other than Sasquatch. On tonight’s show, he’s not only going to talk about the three sightings he’s had. He’s also going to share other experiences he’s had in the field. Some of them were when he was with his father, Dusty Ruth, who is a BFRO too. Some of Wes’ experiences happened when his dad wasn’t around. Tonight’s guest, Parmalee, has had a plethora of Bigfoot sightings. All of which happened within a 3-mile radius of her home. That’s due, in large part, to the fact that for years, she had a clan of Sasquatch living across the road from her property. Parmalee had her first Bigfoot sighting, one night, in August of 2017. She was about 7 minutes from home, at the time, driving up a hill. There was a little convenience store at the top of the hill, on the right-hand side of the road. There was a fur tree standing next to the entrance of the convenience store’s driveway. The store’s parking lot was well-lit. The fur tree was something Parmalee was used to seeing. What was standing next to the tree wasn’t.

Tonight’s guest, Dave, is from Mountain Iron, Minnesota but he had his sighting in Stillwater, Minnesota, in 1992. He was on a family hunting trip when he had his sighting. He and his family members were deer hunting on land that he and his family would travel to every year, like a tradition. The land was near Grand Rapids, Minnesota. There were lots of rolling hills and beautiful scenery there. When Dave had his sighting, he was on a ridgetop, hunting out of a 16-foot-tall ladder stand. A short time after climbing into his stand, he saw a pickup drive into view with around 8 men in its bed. Dave knew the men were getting ready to do what’s called a drive, where they would spread out a walk through the woods, in an attempt to drive deer toward hunters who were lying in wait, up ahead. When the truck had driven about a half mile across a clearing Dave was by, he started to hear footsteps coming from the bottom of the hill he was sitting on top of. It didn’t sound like a deer moving through the forest. It sounded different than that. That left Dave puzzled for a short time until he saw what had been walking below him…

On January 4th, of 2003, tonight’s guest left work at about a quarter to 7 PM. He was working in Tampa, Florida at the time. About 15 minutes after he had left work, he was driving down U.S. 301, heading for home. At the time, he was fiddling with the stereo in his truck, trying to find a good station, when all of a sudden he looked to his left because he saw movement from something white. Thinking it was another car or a deer, he slammed on his brakes. When his eyes fell upon the white object, he couldn’t believe what he was seeing…
