Sizwe Branden Mashaba Born and raised in Thulamahashe, Mpumalanga, and currently based in Johannesburg, Gauteng, Earful Soul is a South African DJ and producer whose journey began in 2011. From an early passion for music, he has developed into a refined and consistent selector within the house music scene.
Over the years, Earful Soul has built a respected presence on stage, sharing lineups with some of the industry’s most influential artists, including Shimza, Black Coffee, Ralf GUM, Da Capo, Jullian Gomes, and DJ Christos.
His sound is rooted in Deep House, Deep Tech, Soulful House, and Afro House—delivering emotive, atmospheric sets that connect deeply with audiences. His approach is defined by discipline, consistency, and a strong commitment to musical storytelling.
Earful Soul is the curator of the OOR mixtape series, a platform dedicated to house music culture and community. In 2023, he released his debut project Ear II Heart, followed in 2024 by the collaborative EP Against All Odds with Poizen, further cementing his evolution as an artist.
