Jeremy and Craig are thrilled to welcome Andrea Anders, who joins us for a special Peanut Butter & Biscuits conversation you won't want to miss!
Andrea gives us the inside scoop on playing Michelle Lasso in Ted Lasso — including all of the major revelations and emotional turns from Season 4, Episode 6. We dig into Michelle’s journey, her relationship with Ted, and what it was like stepping back into one of the most complicated relationships in the Ted Lasso universe.
But there’s plenty more beyond Richmond. Andrea takes us through her journey from the Midwest to Hollywood, her early career and some of the memorable television and film roles that helped shape her career. We also talk about working alongside her brother, director Sean Anders, including her appearance in Spirited, as well as some of the many other projects that have made Andrea such a familiar face to television and movie fans.

Peanut Butter & Biscuits continues down the recap road breaking down Ted Lasso Season 4, Episode 6: “Don't Jump Around Much Anymore”
It's New Year's Eve and it's a night of reckoning for many. The Lady Greyhounds are invited to a lavish yacht party thrown in their honor by Zelda that proves to be too weird by far. Alice has a hard time convincing herself to go but tries to open herself up to the team. Rebecca, Keeley and Roy celebrate with an old friend which turns out requiring a trip to the hospital. Rebecca comes to grips with what she lost in Matthijs and Keeley comes face-to-face with her worst fear. Ted and Michelle celebrate at the Crown & Anchor where we learn so much more about the time after their divorce and Ted must come to grips with where he finds himself in life.
This episode, very simply put, is just an absolute gem and the unrivaled best of the season. There is perhaps one of the most jaw-droppingly enjoyable scenes in the whole series and, in the true spirit of the mid-way point, character development in spades. We get to ponder the gender of Wilson in Castaway, a banger of an episode playlist, get a whole heaping of amazing Mark Twain quotes, and we learn the true origin story of a fundamental character in the show that makes us so excited for the rest of the season. All of this and MORE lie ahead!

Peanut Butter & Biscuits continues down the recap road breaking down Ted Lasso Season 4, Episode 5: “Riches of Embarrassment”
The Lady Greyhounds are prepping fro their big FA Cup matchup with the mighty Chelsea. But when Margy and Mady see Ted eating alone it sparks a need for the whole team to learn more about their manager and Ted to confront exactly where he is in his life. This also sparks some kind of insecurity in Alice that quickly spirals out of hand. Not to be left out, Beard finally gives in and sees Jane's show and Rebecca is thrown through a loop when Matthias announces he's moving to London full-time with his daughter. Roy makes a confession to Keeley that shakes her to her core. All of this leads to the fateful match day that holds surprises in store for everyone that may define the entire rest of the season.
Like many an episode 5 in past seasons this one feels pivotal and like a true halfway point of a season. Our characters have not only grown but are now being challenged to look deeper and find a way through their faults and insecurities to discover something bigger. We get a patented Ted speech, learn the history of theatre superstitions, settle the debate of whether audio books count as "reading" and, of course, teach ourselves to "Hold on for one more day". All of this and more ahead!

We couldn't be happier to welcome Mae Green herself, Annette Badland to the podcast! She is literally the best freaking person alive and we had a wonderful conversation not just about Lasso but her entire career. We talk her roots at the Globe Theatre in the Royal Shakespeare Company, her favorite roles, how that warped her to the sci-fi world of Doctor Who and finally to our favorite bar in Richmond.

Despite a run of success to start the season, all things are not clicking for the Lady Greyhounds as cliques have started to form based on positions and they are threatening to tear the team apart. The coaches have to come up with a way to break up the cliques to unlock the team’s true potential. Meanwhile, Roy and Keeley arrive at an ultimatum point as Keeley wants Roy to go on 10 dates to make sure he’s ready to get back together: with Higgins thrown in the middle for some reason. And Tracy Ullman has entered the chat as a badass female investor that Keeley is in love with but Rebecca might feel threatened by. 
This episode feels like a wonderful throw-back to Two Aces in Season 1 as we get the team finally accepting each other and the Lasso Way. We get a deepening of Keeley and Rebecca’s friendship and Kee-OY is finally nearing relaunch, though in the most crazy way possible. How does Ted not know Harry Potter?
