I’ve been reminded by God to bring every area of my life before God—not just asking Him to bless my desires, but praying:

"Lord, if this isn't what You have for me, change my heart. Show me what You want, and I'll follow."

Is there a prayer you've stopped praying because you assumed God wasn't listening?

Today, I share a story as a Christian mom of answered prayer with my toddler - a small, silly prayer answered almost immediately TWICE in a row.

That small moment became a bigger conversation: God hears you.

It also showed me lies that I was believing about prayer, even as a Bible believing, Christian woman.

We dive into this mini testimony AND Scripture that tells us that God hears, He is near, and He answers, even if not always how we expect.

Feeling Unqualified for What God Calls You To? What Moses’s Story Teaches Us

You love Jesus—but if you're honest, it can be easy to coast. Maybe you've got the intention but not the follow-through. Maybe you're following through, but your heart's off: it's for the checklist, the self-promotion, the feeling instead of for Him. In this episode, we're sitting in 1 Corinthians and asking the uncomfortable-but-good question: Am I running this race to obtain the prize, or just living the Christian life aimlessly?

Paul says runners run to get the prize, so run in a way that wins it and a couple chapters later, whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God. 

I share the simple rhythm my husband and I started and the honest self-examination that followed: Am I running with intention, discipline, and determination —or lackadaisically, only when it's convenient, or worse, for myself?

We talk about where "running to win" actually shows up in ordinary life.
