An enormous pair of glowing yellow eyes lurking in the darkness, mysterious little hairy beings stalking teenagers through the bush, and not one, but TWO haunted childhood homes.
In this episode of Cliffhanger, I'm joined by my younger brother Ayden, who finally shares his firsthand account of a bizarre series of encounters in Narrawallee Creek Reserve on the NSW South Coast.
From a terrifying encounter with a massive, unidentified creature to strange gifts, flying rocks, mimicked bird calls and possible Junjudee activity, there's plenty to unpack. Ayden also shares some more recent experiences in a different stretch of bush, involving mysterious wood knocks and potential gift giving, before we reminisce about growing up in two incredibly haunted houses.

In this episode, I’m joined by Matty, who grew up not far from the infamous Pilliga Forest and has experienced strange and disturbing phenomena since childhood.
Matty shares his experiences with dark and potentially demonic entities, along with encounters involving both angelic and demonic beings around his childhood property.

We also get into what he believes could be a family curse stretching back to the bushranger Captain Thunderbolt, who Matty is distantly related to.
Then we head into Yowie territory, including Matty’s sightings of potential Yowies that appeared to almost glide across the ground, a strange detail that continues to pop up in Yowie and Bigfoot encounters.

Trent joins me from Queensland to share a lifetime of experiences that blur the line between life, death and whatever might exist in between.
After being trapped beneath the surf and reaching the point where he believed he was going to die, Trent experienced something profound. An overwhelming sense of peace, followed by what he describes as leaving his body and witnessing events unfolding from above, before suddenly finding himself back underwater fighting his way to the surface.
But that’s only one chapter of his story.
We dive into eerie encounters with shadow people, including figures witnessed by multiple members of his family and some unsettling experiences that seem to have followed the family across generations.
Trent also shares the incredible connection he believes he still has with his late grandfather. From being inexplicably drawn directly to his grave, to receiving what seemed like a warning moments before a problem aboard a flight.
Near death, out of body experiences, shadow people and a bond with a loved one that may have continued long after his passing.

Dazza describes being tormented by malevolent entities and some particularly disturbing encounters with beings seemingly capable of mimicking people from their physical appearance, to sounds they make right down to familiar smells.

As usual, we head down a few rabbit holes along the way, getting into Yowies, strange activity around the Shoalhaven and some possible future expeditions into areas we’re keen to investigate.

Towards the end, the conversation takes a more serious turn as we discuss mental health, vulnerability and the idea of raising your vibration to help protect yourself when negative entities seem to take advantage of us at our lowest.
