In this episode of Cliffhanger: Paranormal and Cryptid Encounters, I’m joined by Sean from the Central Coast of NSW.

Sean shares his experience of being bluff charged by what he believes was a Yowie in the dead of night. Something large closed the distance on him fast before pulling up at the last second. A moment that left no doubt he wasn’t alone out there.

That encounter wasn’t the end of it.

On numerous trips into the bush he’s had rocks and sticks thrown in his direction, felt himself being stalked by something heavy and unseen, and even experienced strange activity at his own property, including sticks deliberately jammed into the ground as potential markers.

Sean also recounts seeing a large black panther through his rifle scope while deer hunting in a NSW state forest. Clear. Solid. Unmistakable. He shares his thoughts on what these mysterious big cats might actually be and where they may have originated, including discussion around the Wallace Line and the possibility of exotic species in Australia.

Sean is an experienced bushman and hunter who knows the landscape well, making his encounters all the more compelling.

Horrifying Rake-type entity terrifies family in Western Australia

Two years ago at Swan View Tunnel in Western Australia, Em came face to face with something she still struggles to talk about.

What started as a casual night exploring one of WA’s most haunted locations turned into something far darker. Standing in the tunnel with a torch in hand, she saw a tall, unnatural figure caught directly in the beam of light. Thin. Lurking. Rake like in appearance. Not a shadow. Not a trick of the eye. Something physical.

The dread that followed was overwhelming. Her body went heavy. Her knees buckled. She could barely breathe. Even now, recalling it makes her hair stand up.

In this episode, Em shares the full encounter in detail, along with the strange paranormal experiences that led up to that night. From childhood spiritual sensitivity to shadow figures and moving objects, this story builds toward something that doesn’t feel human at all.

Face to Face with a Yowie in Central QLD

In this episode of Cliffhanger Paranormal and Cryptid Encounters, I speak with Callan, a lifelong bushman and roo shooter from central Queensland, about a terrifying face-to-face encounter with a Yowie, often referred to as the Australian Bigfoot.

While shooting in remote gidgee country near Winton, Callan came eye to eye with a large hairy figure through his rifle scope. What followed was a moment frozen in time before the creature moved with incredible speed into thick scrub and disappeared.

Beyond this encounter, Callan also shares experiences involving huge big cat tracks, abnormal animal behaviour, and repeated sightings of Min Min lights, a phenomenon deeply tied to outback folklore and unexplained activity.

Years later, his father, once a skeptic, had his own shocking encounter in the same area, cementing the idea that something is going on out there.

Terrifying Hat Man and UFO Encounters in Coastal NSW

In this episode of Cliffhanger: Paranormal and Cryptid Encounters, I’m joined by Connor from coastal New South Wales to discuss a series of genuinely unsettling experiences involving Hat Man–type shadow entities, shadow people, and repeated UFO sightings across the Jamberoo–Kiama region.

Connor shares multiple night-time encounters with tall shadow figures, including Hat Man–style entities seen moving through familiar locations. These weren’t fleeting glimpses. Some involved sustained visual contact, strange sounds in the bush that were far too heavy to be human, and an overwhelming sense that something was aware of their presence.

Alongside the shadow encounters, Connor has experienced numerous UFO sightings in the same coastal areas, including close-range sightings with other witnesses present. Bright lights, objects vanishing instantly, and movements that don’t match aircraft or conventional explanations feature heavily throughout his story.

What makes this episode especially interesting is the overlap. The same locations. The same time periods. Different phenomena, but a consistent pattern of high strangeness. We also discuss a moment where Connor later checked the exact location of one of his encounters on Google Earth Street View and noticed something unusual captured there in broad daylight.
