Today, we tackle the 3rd and final film recommendation from Dan Erickson. To complete the trilogy of Dan's Sci-Fi Recs, we recap the 1982 classic... THE THING! Starring two 1980s HOTTIES - Jurt Russell and Keith David! But we're not here to talk about how these studs took our breath away... ok, a little bit we do. But MOSTLY we're here to discuss what a landmark this film is to both Sci-Fi and horror. We also come to realize by the end that all 3 of Dan's Sci-Fi recs have one thing in common: Aliens coming to earth to do sneaky stuff. Each is doing some form of body snatching, be it literal, metaphysical or biological.
