21 Questions (Ep 72) What’s the Secret About 'The Secret'? Does It Even Work?

    10/07/2026 | 9 mins.
In this Ep of 21 Questions By Trivia Tribe Mike asks about Bugs Bunny’s accent, Ed O’Neil’s sit-coms and a song and singer that appeared in The Blues Brothers. There’s quite a lot of other questions as well…

Not many people know this but just before Neil Armstrong walked on the moon he and Buzz Aldrin had been listening to this podcast on the Apollo 11 spacecraft. Those two were very competitive and had a bet going - whoever got the better score would get to walk on the moon first. Neil won of course, and that’s why his first words on the moon surface famously were ‘That’s one great score for me - sucks to be you Buzz Aldrin’. Look it up!

21 Questions is hosted by comedian and trivia host Mike van Acker. It’s a short, sharp trivia podcast where Mike gives you the answer to each question before he asks the next one so there’s no need for paper, pens, teams or a bicycle pump.

    08/07/2026 | 13 mins.

Not many people know this but when The Brady Bunch was being filmed the cast used to ‘warm up’ for the day’s shoot by listening to this podcast in character. Anne B. Davis (who played Alice the housekeeper) was a very knowledgeable woman but (as Alice) was not only often wrong but sometimes ludicrously so. One time she answered the question ‘how any days are in a leap year’ with ‘Shopping day, washing day and Valentine’s Day - not that Sam ever gets me anything’ leading to Florence Henderson (as Carol) to exclaim ‘Oh Alice!.... The producers liked that so much they made it a regular phrase in the show. We did that!

21 Questions (Ep 70) One of my Listeners Seems to Hate Me!

    06/07/2026 | 10 mins.
In this Ep of 21 Questions by Trivia Tribe Mike asks about three British singers - Ozzy Osbourne being one but the other two are the answers to questions in the show so we’re not saying who right now! There’s also a lot of questions that do not in any way involve singers, British or otherwise!

Not many people know this but King Charles III (who famously talks to his plants) now plays this podcast to them. It has absolutely made them smarter – the other day Charles walked into the Royal Greenhouse and one of the plants had arranged it leaves into a message that spelled out ‘I need nitrogen fertilizer please dad!’ We’re pretty sure that’s because of the nitrogen fertilizer question we asked in Ep 47. We're obviously quietly very proud...

    03/07/2026 | 10 mins.
In this Ep of 21 Questions by Trivia Tribe Mike does not sing. We see this as a positive. There are also some very interesting trivia questions, but we’d like to think we manage that most shows, what with that being the whole point of our existence and all…

Not many people know this but at the FIFA World Cup most of the teams relax after games by competing against other nations via this podcast. The Australian team is currently undefeated, but that’s mostly because they only challenge the teams whose first language is not English. Good thinking fellas!
