It was an honour and a privilege to close Luminosity 2026, an event that feels closer to our hearts than ever, where each year the trance and electronic music community comes together from all around the world for one unforgettable weekend of music.
We’re going to be real with you here. Both of us have had extremely busy home lives over the last few years, with several children between us, and alongside our solo careers and touring schedules, we really did struggle to find the time to put into the Key4050 project.
Recently though, we made a conscious effort to revive it, because every time we get in the studio together, something good always comes out of it. Whether it’s a tech-trance or mysterious techno belter, a powerful uplifting trance record, or a vocal anthem, there’s always something there. On top of that, we have a laugh. And that’s why how this project started: experimentation.
We’re very proud to let you know that the first 45 minutes of our Luminosity closing set contains the foundations of what will become the new Key4050 album. We are delighted with the progress so far.
Thank you to everyone at Luminosity for trusting us with the closing set, and thank you to every single one of you who danced with us. We felt every beat.
