Planatia is a Berlin based selector and sound artist originally from Rome, dedicated to crafting immersive sonic landscapes where technology and nature converge.

He stands among the founding members of the Radiocircolo collective, an open space for encounter, experimentation, and transmission. He is also part of the electroacoustic duo Nuvola, through which he explores the liminal zones of ambient and experimental music.

Resident on Cashmere Radio and Radio Alhara, his sound resonates as much on the airwaves as it does on the stages of festivals such as Waking Life and Parallel.

Through his sonic navigations he travels the in-between spaces of electronic and organic worlds, weaving liquid soundscapes for inter-dimensional listening.

It’s Sunday, and we’re slowly approaching the last night of Monument 2026. Before the closing set, one of the more distinctive voices coming out of Japan’s underground techno scene enters Varden.

OCCA has spent more than twenty years building his sound and community in Sapporo and Tokyo. That sound is now travelling all over the world, and this night it will journey through the forest in Veggli.

«I didn’t plan my set in advance. Instead, I put a large selection of tracks I had in mind into a playlist. Once I arrived at the festival, I gradually shaped the set; enjoying the music, connecting with people, and taking in the nature and weather around me.

I wanted to bring an energy that would feel powerful and danceable under the sunlight, while also incorporating something that would make people reflect on the time they had spent at the festival – as we moved towards the closing.

I was unsure whether to play a track from a live recording featuring Suzanne Ciani performing with the Metropole Orkest, conducted by Simon Dobson. But when I saw how much the audience was yearning for the music, I felt confident enough to play it. I also can’t forget the scene when the low end of Pearson Sound’s “XLB (Allen Mock x Herbalistek Remix)” ran through the crowd like a tidal wave.

When I left the booth, I was filled with joy and gratitude. Passing the baton from Feral, a longtime friend and an artist I deeply respect, to Efdemin, whom I have been a huge fan of since I first started DJing. I had dreamed of playing at Monument for a long time, so finally being able to stand there and play was a very special moment for me.»

After joining us at Monument Festival last year for a b2b with Beatrice M, Bambi now steps into the podcast series with a solo mix.

“Starting with a meditative intro, the mix slowly moves through epic breaks into minimal, percussive and driving rhythms, getting deeper and more psychedelic along the way before opening into some pretty, trancey and dubby atmospheres.

I had a lot of fun layering vocals and percussion throughout, letting little elements come and go and hopefully creating a sense of movement through the whole journey.

It features many of the tracks I’ve been playing throughout this summer’s tour, including some from my set at FOLD x UTE in late August, while trying to channel the incredible experience I had at Monument last year and weave some of those memories into the mix. Hope you’ll feel that too :)”
