Welcome to the final Discothèque Decadence of the summer season! You know those nights when you’re at a party, the DJ doesn’t turn up and you just happen to have a USB stick in your pocket? Well, it would be rude not to… 😉

That’s the spirit behind this impromptu session. Nineteen tracks of disco magic, irresistible vocals and feel-good house, made for a summer send-off with a little Balearic sparkle. Picture an Ibiza terrace, cocktails flowing and a blood-red harvest moon hanging over the Mediterranean. Nobody’s quite ready to go home.

Giorgio Moroder opens proceedings with the Shakedown mix of “I Wanna Rock You”, before Roland Clark’s “My Life Is a Disco” sets the mood beautifully. Opolopo brings his touch to Fatback Band and AC Soul Symphony, while Purple Disco Machine supplies both the delicious “Disco Cherry” and his edit of Chemise’s “She Can’t Love You”.

There’s plenty to sing along to as Moloko’s “Sing It Back” arrives in Mousse T’s Feel Love Mix, followed by DE SOFFER & Simon Ellis bringing “Make It With Chu” and “Walking on a Dream” into the party. Gino Soccio’s “Dancer” keeps the disco spirit alive, while Sylvester’s “You Make Me Feel (Mighty Real)” gets the Soulwax for Despacio treatment.

And because one more dance is never quite enough, Dimitri from Paris puts his spin on Average White Band’s “Let’s Go Round Again”. Jungle and Erick the Architect’s “Candle Flame”, Adelphi Music Factory’s “Heat from the Fire” and Angelo Ferreri’s closing “Love Me Around” keep the good feeling going right to the finish.

Sunset to Sunrise: Autumnal Equinox Special 🌅🌒🍂

The final sundown mix of the year.

As summer quietly gives way to autumn, Sunset to Sunrise is a moment to pause, reflect on what has been, let go of what no longer needs to be carried, and make space for whatever comes next.

Inspired by the Autumnal Equinox, that brief point of balance between light and darkness, this journey begins in the warmth of the dying sun and gradually moves deeper into the night. There is melancholy here, but also hope. It is the feeling of closing one chapter without quite knowing what the next one will bring.

The opening stretch drifts through the Balearic warmth of Londonbeat’s I’ve Been Thinking About You (Chillside Remix), Hosini’s beautiful Capella, and the timeless emotion of Need To Feel Loved, before moving through the hypnotic worlds of Rampa, Adam Port & Âme, CAMELPHAT, Bonobo, Lane 8, Eelke Kleijn and more.

Running through the mix are several of my own unreleased Funk Assassin productions, including Carried by the Evening, Sun-Faded Ibiza, Don’t Let The Night Go and Heartbeat Under the Dark. These were written specifically for that strange space between sunset and darkness, memory and possibility.

By the time French Kiss and Love Love Love arrive, we have travelled from the last warmth of the season into something altogether more nocturnal.

There is something beautiful about autumn’s reminder that letting go is not necessarily an ending. The trees change colour because they have to. The light fades. The seasons move on. Sometimes we have to do the same.

So this is one last sunset for 2026.

A soundtrack to everything that happened.
A thank you for everything that stayed.
A release of everything that did not.
And a quiet welcome to everything still waiting beyond the horizon.

Welcome to Summer’s End Farewell, a golden hour mix inspired by Café del Mar, Balearic beach culture and that magical moment when the setting sun turns everything to gold.

Filled with dreamy melodies, warm grooves and heartfelt energy, the mix captures the beauty of late summer as daylight slowly fades into the evening.

The journey features an incredible cast of artists, including Bicep, Moby, Sasha, Honey Dijon, HNNY, Satin Jackets, Chicane, Bondax and Kraak & Smaak.

Highlights include Bicep’s timeless “Glue,” followed by a very special mashup that brings the mix to an emotional close. Moby’s “Tecie” appears in the celestial Mind Against remix, while Sasha’s “A Key to Heaven for a Heavenly Trance” arrives in its beautiful Night Dubbing Mix.

One last dance beneath the summer sun.

We start with Michael Jackson’s timeless Rock with You, as this mix was performed on what would have been the King of Pop’s 68th birthday. 👑

From there, we journey through nu disco, soulful house, Balearic grooves and glittering dancefloor energy, moving from warm sunset sounds into an uplifting after-dark celebration.

Featuring Todd Terje’s sun-soaked Strandbar, The Shapeshifters’ YOLO and Eelke Kleijn and Lee Cabrera’s Self Control, with Michael Gray remixing Love X Love and Ride on the Rhythm, Art of Tones transforming Hold On, Kraak & Smaak reworking Confetti, Dave Lee delivering his Jazz Funkstrumental of Do It Any Way You Wanna, and Opolopo bringing fresh energy to Barbara Tucker, Millie Jackson and Kelli Sae.

Party Pupils also give KC & The Sunshine Band’s That’s the Way a modern dancefloor makeover.
