This week Harrison is back to join Brian on the mic. Michael is one of the most successful and beloved swimmers in Australian history. He is a 2x Olympic gold medalist, 5x Commonwealth Games gold medalist, 6 x World Champion. He has broken world records and received countless other accolades and awards. Simply put, when it comes to swimming, he has done it all.

In this conversation we unpack what led to such a distinguished career; his approach to training and mental performance, his analytical approach to development, finding balance and plenty more.

Outside the pool, his life has been just as interesting. His passion for health and wellness has led to several product based start-ups, a foundation in his name, a swim school, plus, countless ambassadorial roles.

Finally, we discuss the life changing diagnosis that Michael received in 2022 - a debilitating autoimmune disorder whereby his immune system attacks his own tissue. We unpacked how this diagnosis has changed his life and shifted his perspective.

Casey, born and raised in Lorne, Victoria, grew up in the surf and on the footy field. He was known as one of the toughest footballers to play in the area. At the age of 27, with his first child on the way, he suffered a devastating spinal cord injury on the football field and became a quadriplegic. Now almost 13 years later, he is a father of 3 and has an attitude towards life that is truly admirable. He is an inspiring example of what it means not to use a disability as a barrier to live the best life you can.

Beyond cars, Nick has an immense business acumen, but it wasn't smooth sailing to get to where he is. He had modest upbringing during the 50s and 60s in the working class suburb of Coburg, the son of Cyprian migrants, Nick, and eventually, his wife Carol (co-founder of the dealership), had to take risks to get ahead, putting almost everything they had on the line more than once.
