- This week Brian and Harrison intro the show by covering all the major topics in their lives and within the AFL, including; BT's new shed firefighting system, Harrison's lock footy premiership, AFL Finals, AFL retirees, NFL in Melbourne, a motorsports update, is AI going kill us, a CHAT-BT, and plenty more.
Their guests this week are Miles & Archie Shepherd - the identical twins behind ‘Shepmates', who’ve turned bedroom content, local footy and a love of sport into a genuine sports and media platform.
The boys chat about where their passion for content creation started, the moment their Mitchell Starc Ashes clip went viral, and why their comedy skits and sports commentary re-enactments have connected with so many people. They also get into how much work actually goes into making the clips, the number of takes, and where they reckon Shepmates can go from here.
Then there’s the fairytale of how two local footballers somehow ended up on the same field as Dustin Martin, Lance Franklin and Gary Ablett Jr in the 2026 AFL Legends Game. The boys talk about what it was like sharing a huddle with some of the biggest names in the game, BT getting names wrong from the commentary box, the infamous Dusty and Miles stoush, and what happened once the game was over.
There’s plenty more on growing up as twins, playing local footy, the people who’ve helped them along the way, their thoughts on the future of content, and plenty more. A really fun chat with two ripping young blokes who are finding their own way into the sports media world.

Their guest this week is Collingwood great Leon Davis. Leon was one of the most naturally gifted small forwards of his generation, playing 225 AFL games, earning 2x All-Australian selections and producing many magical moments around goal. The boys look back on his career at Collingwood, the highs and lows of the 2010 and 2011 seasons, playing in front of huge MCG crowds, and what it was like being part of one of the competition's biggest clubs.
Leon also opens up about his journey as a proud Noongar man, the importance of culture, family, community and connection, and the challenges he faced as a young Indigenous player arriving at Collingwood. He reflects on the people who helped him through difficult periods and the importance of Indigenous players supporting one another inside AFL clubs.
Leon and his family, along with other First Nations players, spent plenty of time at Brian's farm, including hunting trips that became part of the unique bond they built away from the club.
The boys also chat about Leon's transition after football, his role in Cultural Development at Collingwood, his thoughts on the modern game and the opportunities available to Indigenous players today.
A really warm and honest conversation between two old mates, with plenty of footy, plenty of laughs and some great insight into Leon's life on and off the field.

Their guest this week is Essendon Football Club legend and one of the greatest full-forwards of all-time, Matthew Lloyd.
With 270 AFL games, 926 goals, 3x Coleman Medals, 5x All-Australian selections and a captaincy at Essendon, Lloydy knows plenty about kicking goals. From his famously meticulous goal-kicking routine to the perfectionism that drove him to constantly refine his craft, there’s plenty of insight into what made him such a dangerous forward.
The conversation goes well beyond football too, as Lloydy opens up about his transition out of the game, the challenge of finding his feet in the media, and what it’s like going from being scrutinised as a player to scrutinising players himself.
The boys probe Lloydy on what life was like at Essendon during his time, including; what Kevin Sheedy and James Hird were really like behind closed doors, the pressure that comes with being a young footballer, and, separately, some of the lessons Lloydy has picked up coaching at young men (Haileybury College head coach).
A fascinating chat with one of footy’s great characters.

Their guest this week is one of Australia’s most versatile sports commentators, Jack Heverin.
Jack has built a career across just about every corner of sport, calling everything from AFL and cricket to the NBL, international basketball and major sporting events. Unlike many commentators who come through the playing ranks, Jack’s journey started in community radio, producing and journalism, and he’s worked his way up to become one of the most respected play-by-play voices in the country.
The boys chat about Jack’s journey from Langwarren on the Mornington Peninsula to the big stage, what it takes to make it in sports media, what makes a great commentator, the difference between radio and TV, which sports are hardest to call, and where sports broadcasting is heading next.
Having spent plenty of time together on MMM, the pair have some great on-air chemistry, with Jack sharing what it’s actually like working alongside BT, what happens when the microphones are off, and some of the more outrageous moments from the commentary box.
Always the consummate professional, Jack is a team-player, is passionate about his line of work and is truly one of the good guys of Australian sports media. We thank Jack for his time.
