Majak Daw is a former AFL player, speaker and author. He is the first African-born AFL player who played 54 games for North Melbourne.

It was an honour to have Majak join us in the studio to bravely share his incredible story and emotional story. 

Maj is about to share with you a story that will blow your mind. From physically seeing missiles and escaping war-torn Sudan to starting a new life in Australia, it is something nearly all of us can't comprehend. 

He shares what it was like finding Aussie Rules Football and his journey to becoming the first African-born AFL player. 

But in December 2018, Majak had a very public suicide attempt that saw him sustain horrific injury. Maj shares the lead up to the moment, the instant regret he felt, how he was rescued and what he learnt from the experience. 

His long road back to playing AFL is inspiring, and you'll go behind the scenes in the work he had to do and discovering how much he meant to so many of his teammates. 

It is a brave and emotional story which is hard to listen to, but is full of so much hope that we hope you'll see the brightness in.

We were lucky enough to catch up with Joe in his short time back in Melbourne before heading back to Ohio to commence pre-season training and what a story he has to tell.

Matthew Wade is a former Australian ODI captain, played over 200 games for Australia in all formats and current superstar for the Hobart Hurricanes. He played 36 tests for Australia with an average of 29.87 and 5 centuries and is one of the country's most beloved players. 

What an honour it was to head to Hobart to interview Wadey at Ninja stadium at a place with so many classic memories. 

We talk through some of the highs and lows of his extraordinary career including the famous 41* in the T20 World Cup Final, the day he bowled for Australia in test cricket, the biggest six he's witnessed and the pressure of performance. 

Wadey opens up on the great tragedy which was the Phil Hughes incident including his memories of the day, flying to Sydney and some fond moments with his great mate. 

We hear about his testicular cancer at just 16 years old and how it shaped him. Plus, the bowler he struggled against the most, stump mic fines, "Nice Garry", "Homework gate" and the biggest change room blow ups. 

You'll also get great insight into money in the sport and the future of franchise cricket in Australia.
