In this episode I am talking about Alien Encounters and Near-Death Experiences

Alien encounters and near-death experiences are usually treated as completely separate mysteries, but when the experiences and their long-term effects are compared, some striking similarities begin to appear.

In this episode, I look at the possible connections between alien contact and the near-death experience. People from both groups have described encounters with intelligent beings, telepathic communication, strange environments, altered perceptions of time and journeys into realities that seem completely separate from everyday life. Some report meeting beings of light, while others struggle to decide whether the entities they encountered were extraterrestrial, spiritual or something that does not easily fit either description.

I also explore the remarkable similarities in what happens afterwards. Both near-death experiencers and alien-contact experiencers can report reduced fear of death, increased spirituality, greater compassion, stronger intuition, less interest in material success and a new sense of purpose. Experiences that begin with fear or crisis can sometimes become deeply positive and transformational.

The episode looks at the work of several important pioneers who investigated these connections, including Kenneth Ring, R. Leo Sprinkle, Greta Woodrew, Whitley Strieber and Harvard psychiatrist John Mack. Ring’s research was particularly important because he compared the aftereffects reported by near-death experiencers with those described by people claiming UFO encounters and found significant similarities between the two groups.

I also examine unusual cases in which near-death experiences appear to include apparent extraterrestrial contact, including encounters with non-human beings, telepathic communication and journeys to other worlds.

Could alien encounters and near-death experiences be different expressions of a larger mystery involving consciousness? Whatever their ultimate cause, both can leave people with the powerful feeling that human life is part of a much greater reality.

Scott is a clinical hypnotherapist in Southern California specializing in Past Life Regression and Life Between Lives Spiritual Regression. Shortly before his 6th birthday, Aaron developed a serious breathing problem that triggered the release of his soul from his body. This Near-Death Experience (NDE) permanently altered his understandings of life, death, and the soul’s eternal journey. During this NDE, Aaron underwent a complete life review where he re-experienced every thought, feeling, and action from his life. Not only did this life review include his own feelings, but with startling intimacy he could feel the emotional impact his actions had caused in others.

Aaron re-experienced his spiritual beginning as a new soul with God where he received an explanation of why souls benefit from coming to this physical realm as well as our ultimate destination. He was shown his journey to Earth and snippets from numerous past lives. Aaron was shown how his decisions during past lives play a direct role in what he would experience during his upcoming life. He was granted the ability to approve or disapprove various plans for his upcoming life. He was able to retain the memory of selecting his parents, body, name, and numerous other details and plans regarding his current life.

His NDE gave him pre-life memories that reveal deep insight into the life planning process. He was shown in detail how the decisions we make in one life create the framework for subsequent lives. Aaron was able to remember the process of choosing his parents, his body, and making plans for his current life. He explains why and how he picked his current body and many of the circumstances of his current life.
