Our guest this week, Liz, is a long-time yowie experiencer, and we're talking two decades’ worth of experiences, both at her previous home in QLD and also throughout her years travelling around the country. What makes her experiences so unique is that she has actually heard dooligarl voices many, many times over the years, and because of her background as a linguistic anthropologist, she has a unique set of skills that enabled her to recognise the vocalizations she heard as a language, but not a human language. Liz has also experienced yowie mindspeak and she’s going to share that with us, too. This is a fascinating chat and we're really looking forward to sharing it with you. Hosted on Acast. EP158 Yowies, hauntings and a (suspected) alien abduction
We’ve got yowies, paranormal happenings and a potential abduction by extra terrestrial beings this week for you, amigos. First up, Mike got in touch with me a while back to share his yowie and paranormal stories, and while I was talking to him, he told me a cool story that happened to his mate Johnno, so I asked if I could speak to Johnno myself and get his first hand version of the story. I spoke to Johnno recently and he shared his yowie encounter and then unexpectedly dropped a whole bunch of fascinating experiences on me. So I’ve got Mike first and then Johnno in this episode, and both have some really cool and freaky stories to share. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

EP157 Dolly from Kyneton Paranormal and the notorious case of the missing Beaumont children
We’re leaning into the paranormal this week with the fabulous Dolly from Kyneton Paranormal. Dolly runs paranormal investigations and has her own podcast and was previous YC guest a few years ago. She returns this week to share with us a remarkable story that delves into the tragic case of the missing Beaumont children. Many of you will have heard of their story, but for those who haven’t, the three Beaumont children, Jane, Arna and Grant, vanished from an Adelaide beach on 26th Jan 1966. The police investigation into their disappearance is ongoing, the people responsible have never been formally identified or charged, and what happened to them is a mystery – well, it was until now. During one of Dolly’s recent investigations, the spirit of Arna came through and when Dolly realised who it was and what she wanted – and she was asking for help - she started working with Arna, and then Arna’s siblings, to piece together what happened, and to help their spirits cross over and find peace. Arna told Dolly and her team what happened to them, why their bodies haven’t been found and who did it. The success Dolly and her team had with this case started an inundation of spirits wanting Dolly and her team’s help to find peace both for themselves and their living family members. EP156 Yowie sighting at Cudmirrah-Mondayong NSW 2007
I received a message from a lovely young woman called Alyssa who told me her grandfather, Des, had a sighting in 2007 between Cudmirrah and Mondayong NSW. Des hadn’t been able to talk about his experience much because when he initially shared it with a handful of people, he wasn’t taken seriously and made to feel like he must be losing his mind. He’d kept it to himself since then, but really wanted the chance to talk about what happened and what he saw, so his granddaughter reached out to me and arranged for me to call him. What he saw made such an impression on him that many years later he still remembers it vividly. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
