  Mothers Day, Round 9 2024 Brisbane Lions had a draw against Adelaide. Mothers Day Round 9 2025, Brisbane Lions had a draw against North Melbourne!  What are the odds of that!? JB and Patrick are back for another week to discuss the latest match of footy against a bottom 4 team that the Brisbane Lions seemingly didn't take seriously. The midfield that bashed up St Kilda and The Gold Coast were taught a lesson by George Wardlaw and LDU and by the end of the day were lucky to walk away with 2 points.  There were a few shining lights across the day including Cam Rayner's best performance for the year and Kai Lohmann making it through his first full game of the season, but there were definitely plenty of disspointing aspects of the game including Jarrod Berry going out with concussion. With a game against The Dee's awaiting at The Gabba, let's hope The Lions can correct a few things before next Sunday. • BLFC Round 8 - Q-Clash

  JB and Patrick are back after what was billed as the biggest Q-Clash EVER! Both teams went into the game with only one loss under their respective belts but it was Brisbane who asserted their dominance in the midfield and walked away with a 17 point win which probably should have been larger. Ashcroft, Neale, Dunkley and McCluggage shined as did the key position defenders as Brisbane find themselves one game clear on top of the AFL ladder. The VFL team also walked away with a win in a thrilling contest against The Suns which made for a pretty happy weekend all round for Lions/Bears fans!   JB and Patrick are back to chat about the first loss the Brisbane Lions have had in quite a while. But a loss you could see coming a mile away! Nick Daicos and Collingwood pur Brisbane to the sword on Easter Thursday and it's left us all feeling pretty flat. With a 9 day break coming at the right time, It gives us a moment to reset and start firing again against St Kilda on Saturday. Voting was hard this week but the good news is the reserves had a great win with a few players putting their hand up for senior selection. The wheel has a fun twist this week pitting a triple premiership player against an absolute fan favourite and cult hero.
