On today’s episode of The Therapy Crouch, Abbey and Peter are back with another chaotic catch up as Peter reveals he’s started a brand new fitness regime and has become absolutely obsessed with swimming, which Abbey is convinced is just proof he’s embracing his inner old man in the pool. Abbey also tells us all about her very glamorous day out at Fulham where she enjoyed oysters, pancakes and a full English in the brand new Riverside hospitality stand, although she admits it might not be the most authentic football experience. Things quickly heat up when Abbey calls Peter out for secretly adding things to the family diary, leaving her to juggle four school runs and a mysterious training challenge she’s currently preparing for. In the Agony Abs, a listener writes in with a bizarre dilemma as her neighbour appears to be slowly stealing her cat, which leads to a hilarious debate about whether cats actually choose their owners and what you should do when your pet starts spending more time next door than at home. Abbey reveals a terrifying experience driving down the winding roads of Box Hill, despite having a serious fear of heights. With a sheer drop beside the road, cars piling up behind her and the kids in the back, the pressure quickly became overwhelming as she tried to navigate one of the narrowest roads she’s ever driven.

Peter also finds himself under fire as Abbey recalls another recent car journey with him behind the wheel, comparing the experience to the Wolf of Wall Street boat scene thanks to some rather aggressive acceleration and braking.

On today’s episode of The Therapy Crouch, it’s a Mother’s Day special on the podcast as Abbey and Peter welcome a very special guest onto the couch — Abbey’s mum Karen. The episode kicks off with Pete admitting to a classic husband fail after forgetting Abbey’s very first Mother’s Day which sparks a debate about the pressure of getting the perfect gift and whether husbands should actually be responsible for organising the day at all.

Abbey also reveals that she’s been secretly editing Pete’s flower orders over the years to make sure she actually gets the bouquet she wants, while Pete defends himself saying the expectations around special occasions are getting out of hand.
