    On the show today is the legendary Jimmy Fortune. Jimmy shares his stories with Lorrie of what it was like to grow up in rural Virginia, how he started his musical career, and what it was like to join and perform with the Statler Brothers. Jimmy Fortune sang tenor for The Statler Brothers for 21 years, and wrote the #1 hitsong "Elizabeth" for the group. Shortly after the Statler Brothers disbanded, he began to perform as a solo artist.  Fortune, commonly referred to as the Amish Elvis, was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2008 as a member of The Statler Brothers.
