It's hard to believe the year is sliding by so fast, but here we are in April which means more great, new music. This month's edition of UP! leans heavily into the club/circuit sound. The set kicks off with Australia's Delta Goodrem and her song "Eclipse" which she will be representing Australia with at this years Eurovision Song Competition. I think she will definitely place in the top 5 with this song. Dario Xavier delivers a stellar remix here as well as one for Taylor Swift and Loreen respectively. Bebe Rexha's smash new track "New Religion" is given a punchy remix by Apollo. Toy Armada and Jace M also feature three remixes here. They have done a fresh take on Avicii's "I Could Be The One" and a Latin infused, tribal mix of "DTMF" by Bad Bunny. Raye is deservedly getting more air play and Sagi Kariv remixes her song "Black Mascara". Luis Vazquez puts his spin on Sia's "Alive" as well as "Woman" by Doja Cat. Henriq Moraes does the honors on "Wake Up" by Agnes as well as Jennifer Lopez's collaboration with David Guetta. Closing out the set is the awesome Stephen Jusko mix of Russ Rich and Debby Holiday's cover of "I Can't Stand The Rain". The April edition of UP! should club you in the best way possible. Enjoy

Sydney Mardi Gras 2026 falls on the first weekend of March this year so I had to get the Mardi Gras Anthems edition out ahead of time. The festival takes place over the last two weeks of February and the parade and party are the culmination of the festival. This year's edition lands firmly in the 'camp' musical arena with a veritable smorgasbord of divas contributing to the mix and a who's who of remixers lending their talents to the updated versions of these classic songs. Melbourne based DJ and producer Argonaut kicks the set off with his outstanding remix of Kylie's "What Do I Have To Do". Robert from Division 4 contributes four killer remixes here for Irene Cara, Demi Lovato, Destiny's Child and Agnes respectively. Russ Rich and Andy Allder's remix of Billie Eilish's "Birds Of A Feather" is one of my favourites and had to be included here. Reaching back in time are remixes for songs from Taxas, Madonna, Yazoo, Deniece Williams and Britney Spears. Mark from Dirty Disco pretty much owns this edition with stellar remixes for Whitney Houston, Blaze ft. Barbara Tucker and Yazoo. His remix of Whitney Houston's "It's Not Right But It's Okay" is balls to the wall incredible and his own original song "Because I Knew You" closes out the set. Unfortunately, the main closing party for this years Mardi Gras has been canceled so alternate parties are filling the gap. This years edition of Mardi Gras Anthems should keep you moving and grooving until Pride rolls around in June. Happy Mardi Gras and stay safe. Enjoy

This month's edition of UP! has a front end full of funky, house pop tracks and transitions into a back end full of driving dance floor stompers. Kicking off the set is the awesome Nick Jay & Jean Luc remix of Katie Underwood's "Danger". The amazing Division 4 features three remixes here for Sabrina Carpenter, Sombr and SZA respectively. He has his own website (Division 4 Music : Div-4.com) where you can download quite a few of his mixes at really good prices. I highly recommend you check it out and also give him some support. Speaking of support, the incredibly generous Russ Rich and Andy Allder gave me an advance copy of their remix of Raye's "Where Is My Husband" and it is flat out amazing. The baseline, percussion and integration of the lyrics is masterful and I cannot thank them enough for this lovely sneak peak. Dario Xavier also features two mixes for Nick Jonas and also Taylor Swift. Sagi Kariv delivers a thumping mix of Charlie XCX's "Hello Goodbye" and the always on point Dirty Disco delivers a classic remix for Tata Vega and a punchy remix for Katseye. Closing out the set is the new track from Agnes given the big room treatment from Henriq Moraes. The Sydney Mardi Gras festival fires up in mid February and runs through to the first weekend of March which means Mardi Gras anthems will be out very soon. I would also like to dedicate this month's edition of UP! to my good friend Mark who just celebrated an 'event' birthday. Welcome to Club 60 ;) Enjoy

Welcome to the New Year. We've all made it. I was working like a dog over the Xmas / NY period so it's taken me a bit of time to get to the January '26 edition of UP! This set has a mix of classic, older songs with fresh, new remixes as well as some current charting hit songs. Kicking of the set is the amazing smash hit song "Man I Need" by Olivia Dean given a killer remix by Apollo. I love this song and Apollo maintains the integrity of the song with his remix. Division 4 has covered one of my favourite hits from the 70's, "If I Can't Have You" and Stephen Jusko & DJ Blacklow deliver a sexy, house mix of Kylie's sultry classic "Slow". Twenty year old American singer Sombr also gets the Division 4 treatment on "Undressed". The middle of the set has great house tracks from Raye, Taylor Swift and Joel Corry ft. Jennifer Lopez. Dirty Disco features four stellar remixes in this set. Two classics come from Donna Summer and La Bouche respectively along with Katseye's "Gabriela". The closing song is an original song from Mark and his writing partner Ryan. This song was inspired by "Wicked" but is not from the films. It is beautifully written, sung and produced and I see it becoming a gay anthem on future dance floors. Again, an enormous thank you to Mark for giving me this song and asking me for my feedback on it. I think it's pretty obvious that I love it. It's also my brother's birthday today so Happy Birthday big bro. This is dedicated to you. Let's lookout for and support each other in the New Year. Enjoy

This is a compilation that I've been wanting to put together for a while now. Dirty Disco remixing Taylor Swift is a dance floor match made in heaven. I have been so fortunate that Mark has given me advance copies of some of his remixes, not just for Taylor but for artists across the board. He is a very generous man and I think he knows how much I appreciate it and love him for it. This set has been several years in the making and features songs from Taylor's discography ranging from "Love Story and "Fearless" right through to "The Fate Of Ophelia" from her current hit album "The Life Of A Showgirl". Mark's mixes always add so much drive and energy to her songs. He can take a ballad and turn it into a dance floor anthem and he always leaves me thinking 'how the hell did he do that'? A couple of my all time favourite TS songs are featured here "Blank Space", "Message In A Bottle" and "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together". I'm going to nudge Mark into remixing "Out Of The Woods" and I'll be even happier. This is my final podcast for 2025 and I'm happy to be using the awesome combination of Taylor Swift and Dirty Disco to farewell 2025. Happy New Year. Be safe. Enjoy
