Top Dance Songs 2025: Our Year-End Review
28/12/2025 | 2h 2 mins.
Estimated reading time: 6 minutes We’ve officially reached the pinnacle of the Top Dance and Club songs for 2025, and the result is… complicated. While the year wasn’t devoid of quality, it landed short of expectations when viewed as a whole. There were standout records. There were undeniable earworms. However, the depth simply wasn’t there. Party Favorz is closing out the year with just two volumes instead of the usual three or four. That decision wasn’t arbitrary. Typically, the year-end list overflows with must-have club records, forcing careful balance across multiple releases. This time, that pressure never arrived. Volume 2 may end up slightly longer—or not. That call will be made once the final mix comes together. Either way, the numbers told a clear story. The Songs That Carried 2025 To be fair, 2025 did deliver several massive Dance and Club songs that refused to leave our heads. Tracks like Don’t Wake Me Up, Destiny, Coming Up, Beautiful People, Dior, Hypnotized, Blessings, The Days, Stephanie, Say My Name, No Broke Boys, Dreamin’, and Tell Me were all high-rotation records with real staying power. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Us-4C6Bz5nQ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_QcgxGxk1kQ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S2fSojJqyNY Each of these songs qualifies as an earworm in the purest sense. They connected quickly. They tested well on the floor. They held up across repeated listens. Yet even with those highlights, the overall list felt thinner than what’s typical for a year-end roundup. That reality forced a rare adjustment. Adjusting the Bar for a Changing Market Historically, Party Favorz has relied on combined YouTube and Spotify streaming totals, supplemented by Beatport Top 10 entries that may not dominate mainstream platforms. That approach usually paints a complete picture of the year. In 2025, however, the mega-streaming hits were fewer and farther between. To round out the Top Dance Songs of 2025, the qualification threshold was lowered to one million combined streams. That wasn’t a compromise in taste. Instead, it acknowledged a shifting landscape where listener attention is more fragmented than ever. With more genre-specific releases competing for smaller slices of the audience, fewer tracks reached those runaway numbers we once took for granted. The Ultimate Spring Break Dance Party Mix 2024! The Biggest Dance Songs of 2025 ...So Far! | Catch-Up 2025 The Season's HOTTEST Dance Club Songs: Jingle Electric 2021 Catch-Up 2024 Volume II: The Biggest Dance Club Songs of the Year…So Far! Top Dance Club Songs of the Year 2024 Volume I | The Year's Biggest Bangers! [Expanded] In the end, selection came down to resonance. Which songs stuck? Which records translated across clubs, playlists, and repeat plays? Judged by that metric, this list still delivers. Why John Summit Dominated the Year One thing listeners will immediately notice across both volumes is the heavy presence of John Summit. That wasn’t favoritism—it was math. Summit continues to generate reliable streaming numbers while actively pushing beyond his comfort zone. Rather than repeating past success, he’s collaborating with established vocalists and artists who haven’t necessarily crossed into the mainstream. That approach results in original records that feel intentional rather than formulaic. Yes, he could easily deliver another “Shiver.” Instead, he’s expanding his range. Along the way, Summit has also revisited classics like Sweet Disposition, Silence, and I Wanna Go, using them as connective tissue between generations. Between those moments, he released tracks such as Palm of My Hands, Focus, and Light Years, which showcase genuine artistic growth while giving his live sets far more dimension. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d2jQjvNtawA https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hizmDQ83kRI https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FNHfPqti1V8 Other Artists Who Defined the Year Beyond Summit, several names consistently showed up in the data. PAWSA, Prospa, and Odd Mob all posted strong streaming numbers that matched their growing influence on the global house scene. Meanwhile, David Guetta and Hypaton delivered one of the year’s standout reinterpretations by sampling Bonnie Tyler’s early-’80s classic Total Eclipse of the Heart for Together. It’s dramatic, bold, and unapologetically built for big rooms—one of Party Favorz’ favorite remixes of 2025. James Hype also maintained momentum with Don’t Wake Me Up and Waterfalls, proving his run over the last few years is no fluke. In a surprise twist, Jonas Blue caught listeners off guard with the house-driven Edge of Desire, which performed far better than many expected. Clementine Douglas: A Defining Voice After last year’s chart-topping collaboration with Calvin Harris on Happy, Clementine Douglas made it clear she’s no one-off success. In 2025, she appeared prominently across multiple key releases—reuniting with Harris on Blessings, teaming with MK on Come Find Me, and joining Sonny Fodera on Tell Me. Few vocalists shaped the sound of the year as consistently as she did. Closing the Year Strong So while 2025 may not go down as a banner year for Dance and Club music, it certainly wasn’t a loss. These two volumes capture the biggest records, the most memorable hooks, and the tracks that carried us through crowded floors and long nights. As Volume 2 lands in early 2026, Volume 1 sets the tone—focused, intentional, and packed with highlights worth revisiting. Welcome to Top Dance Songs of 2025 Volume 1.Until the next time...ENJOY! Holiday Edition 2025: Sleigh the Night with Circuit Anthems & Tribal House Beats [Fixed]
13/12/2025 | 2h 42 mins.
Estimated reading time: 6 minutes Fixed the transition for "Deep Into The Night" and smoothed out other transitions for flow. Party Favorz Holiday Edition 2025: Sleigh the Night Party Favorz returns with our annual Holiday Edition 2025 Circuit Anthems, a high-energy release built on Tribal House beats and peak-hour momentum that sleighs the night from start to finish. This year’s Holiday Edition is designed to keep the party moving long after the lights go out, delivering a powerful blend of modern circuit anthems and driving tribal rhythms. As always, this release reflects what Party Favorz does best: staying ahead of the curve while honoring the tracks and artists that move dance floors worldwide. A Stacked Roster of Circuit and Tribal Heavyweights Holiday Edition 2025 features an impressive lineup of DJs and producers who continue to shape the modern circuit and tribal sound. You’ll hear standout contributions from Danny Verde, Dario Xavier, Leanh, José Spinnin Cortes, Edson Pride, Dirty Disco, Heriqmoraes, Eick Ibiza, Guy Scheiman, Nick Harvey, and many more. Each artist brings their own signature energy, but together they form a cohesive journey that balances relentless rhythm with emotional lift. This is the kind of set built for packed dance floors, late-night sessions, and hands-in-the-air moments that don’t fade once the night peaks. Holiday Edition 2024: Tribal Beats To Sleigh Your Holidays [Updated] The Party Favorz Annual Fundraiser and Other News I Need Your Help Putting on the Brakes! Holiday Edition 2009 Volume 1 Classic Songs, Reimagined for Today’s Dance Floor One of the defining strengths of Holiday Edition 2025 is how it bridges generations of dance music. Several iconic songs are reworked into modern club weapons while preserving the heart that made them classics in the first place. Robyn’s “With Every Heartbeat” gets a fresh and emotional update courtesy of Manuel De Diego, GSP, and Nalaya, giving the track new life within a circuit framework. The Temper Trap’s “Sweet Disposition” is beautifully retold by Leanh, Nikki Valentine, and Pedro Arms, transforming an indie staple into a soaring club moment. Nick Harvey teams up with Audrey Callahan on the powerful anthem “No More Heartache,” delivering one of the set’s most emotionally charged highlights. Meanwhile, ADÉLA’s breakthrough track “SexOnTheBeat” brings a sharp, contemporary edge that fits seamlessly alongside the more familiar reworks. You’ll also hear major crowd favorites like “Man I Need” by Olivia Dean, the enduring classic “Happiness” by Alexis Jordan, “Genie in a Bottle” by Christina Aguilera, and Taylor Swift’s latest “The Fate of Ophelia,” all woven into the mix with purpose and precision. A Smart Whitney Tribute That Hits Hard One of the most talked-about moments in the set is the clever reimagining of Whitney Houston’s “I Wanna Dance With Somebody.” Reworked as a duet featuring the talented Calum Scott and remixed by Dirty Disco, this version strikes the perfect balance between nostalgia and modern circuit intensity. It’s respectful. It’s uplifting. And it’s guaranteed to send hands into the air when it hits its stride. The Final Remix Drop Before Year-End Rankings Holiday Edition 2025 marks our final release of new remixes before shifting focus to our annual roundup of the Top Dance Songs of the Year. That series will begin rolling out in the final weeks of December, with the goal of wrapping everything up before New Year’s Eve. If timing pushes beyond that window, the remaining installments will follow shortly after January 1st. Either way, the countdown is on. Behind the Scenes: Rising Costs and Continued Commitment It’s been a challenging year behind the scenes, but the commitment to delivering quality never wavered. Producing Holiday Edition 2025 alone cost over $80, up significantly from the usual $50 average for previous circuit sets. Jingle Electric came in at $50 as well, largely due to artists and producers holding back tracks from DJ services for extended periods. Despite rising costs, Party Favorz continues to prioritize timely releases. Instead of waiting for tracks to become mainstream hits, we focus on delivering music as it’s released, spotlighting songs we believe will dominate dance floors in the months ahead. Looking Ahead to 2026 and Beyond As we move into 2026, Party Favorz will continue its run of the latest dance club hits, paired with thoughtfully reworked classics. Long-standing series like BackSpin remain a key part of the lineup, and we’re also planning to expand the long-overdue Legacy series, highlighting DJs who helped shape the dance music scene and whose influence still resonates today. The mission remains the same: respect the past, spotlight the present, and keep pushing forward. Supporting Party Favorz If you’re enjoying these releases and haven’t yet contributed, please consider supporting Party Favorz with a one-time donation or, even better, a small recurring donation of $5 per month. Those modest monthly contributions make a real difference in offsetting ongoing production costs and help ensure the podcast can continue delivering high-quality sets year-round. That’s all for now. I hope everyone is enjoying the holiday season. We’ll be back shortly with our Top Dance Songs of the Year countdown. Until the next time...ENJOY! Jingle Electric 2025: The Hottest Dance Club Songs of the Holiday Season [Fixed]
06/12/2025 | 2h 48 mins.
This episode has been tightened up with a volume fix on “Have You Ever Loved” by Hannah Laing & Hannah Boleyn, a smoother transition into “Bring Me To Life” by Tiësto & FORS, the removal of “Bullshit” for better flow, and a bass adjustment on “Good Luck” by James Hype feat. Pia Mia to clean up the drop. Estimated reading time: 7 minutes 🎄 Party Favorz Jingle Electric 2025 Ignites the Holiday Season Party Favorz is back with our annual Jingle Electric 2025, and this year’s edition hits harder than ever. This isn’t background music for trimming the tree. This is peak-hour energy designed for packed dance floors, flashing strobes, and full-tilt holiday release. From the opening beat to the final mix-out, the momentum never lets go. What makes Jingle Electric 2025 so effective is its constant motion. Bass House melts into Hard Dance. Techno surges into Trance. Melodic House glides into Tech House. Then Dance Pop rises up just long enough to reset the room. About every fourth or fifth track, the direction shifts. That pacing keeps the set fresh and unpredictable while locking listeners into the journey. 🔥 Current Club Weapons Driving the Set This year’s mix is stacked with brand-new heat already shaping the club landscape. Tiësto & FORS’ “Bring Me to Life” stands out as a full-circle moment for a Trance legend who helped build the foundation and still commands the present. The energy is classic Tiësto, updated for today’s floors. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RTz6E3gL_Ac Odd Mob’s “Coming Up” reflects the duo’s massive year in clubs and festivals alike. Their bass-driven bounce fits perfectly into the heavier stretches of the set. James Hype’s “Behavior” continues his relentless streak of high-octane productions. The man simply doesn’t miss. One of the biggest crowd-shifting moments comes from Britney Spears’ “I Wanna Go,” reborn through John Summit’s modern Club Fusion lens. Originally released during Britney’s early 2010s resurgence, the song always leaned electro-pop. Summit transforms it into a proper peak-hour weapon without losing its playful attitude. Alesso & Sacha’s “Destiny” brings melodic tension and emotional lift. It’s classic Alesso—big, anthemic, and instantly recognizable. “Mitsubishi” by Gorgon City & Muki adds a darker, hypnotic layer into the mix that keeps the energy grounded and driving forward. Then comes the early-millennial surprise hit all over again. MGMT’s “Kids,” reworked by Fezzo, explodes with new life for a new generation while still honoring the original’s infectious melody. It’s one of those rare flips that bridges indie nostalgia and full-throttle club energy. 🕺 Millennium Classics Recharged for 2025 One of the defining traits of Jingle Electric 2025 is how confidently it blends the brand-new with the deeply familiar. Several early-2000s anthems return in updated form without sacrificing their identity. ATB’s “9PM (Til I Come)” still carries that unmistakable late-night Trance DNA that once dominated radio and underground alike. Eric Prydz’s “Call On Me” remains a lesson in how minimal repetition can still dominate a dance floor. Meanwhile, Oliver Heldens puts a pumped-up spin on “Lady (Hear Me Tonight)” by Modjo, sharpening the groove into a modern festival-ready burner while preserving the original’s silky swagger. Progressive Edition 2008 | Pt. 1, 2 & 3 Top Dance Songs of the Holiday Season! — Jingle Electric 2022 Jingle Electric 2015 pt. 2 | MASSIVE EDM BANGERS! Jingle Electric 2016 Volume 2 Jingle Electric 2017 Volume 1 💔 Kaskade Delivers Two Powerful Moments from Undux One of the most talked-about segments in Jingle Electric 2025 belongs to Kaskade, who delivers not one, but two standout singles from his forthcoming album undux. His rework of Bonnie Raitt’s “I Can’t Make You Love Me” is nothing short of fearless. The original ballad is built on restraint, heartbreak, and understated phrasing—qualities that rarely translate into peak-hour club tracks. Yet Kaskade somehow preserves the ache while lifting the song into a full-scale hands-in-the-air anthem. The uncredited vocal performance adds intimacy and mystery, making it one of the most emotional moments in the entire set. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r3IukmPJ2qo On the other side of the emotional spectrum sits “DNCR.” This track is pure late-night propulsion. It’s rhythmic, addictively smooth, and designed for release after hours. Together, these two records showcase the wide creative range Kaskade is tapping into on undux—from deep emotional storytelling to undeniable dancefloor drive. 💿 Rose Gray’s “Wet & Wild” Is the Breakout Bop If one song defines the playful side of this mix right now, it’s Rose Gray’s “Wet & Wild.” This is Funky House colliding with Future House in the best way possible. The hook sticks immediately and refuses to leave your head. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1pUD6vgfhSs Her debut full-length deluxe edition album, Louder, Please, is now out across all major platforms and shows an artist hitting full stride at exactly the right moment. This track has already become our favorite bop in Jingle Electric 2025. 💸 Why Club Fusion Sets Are Getting More Expensive While you’re enjoying Jingle Electric 2025, work on next week’s Holiday Edition is already underway. But the reality behind these releases has shifted. Many labels and artists now delay releasing their tracks to DJ pools for months. That forces DJs to purchase music individually at retail pricing. Just like the Circuit Anthem sets, these Club Fusion releases now come with real financial weight. Party Favorz remains committed to delivering the newest music when it matters most—but that commitment hits the wallet harder than ever. ❤️ A Heartfelt Thank You to Our Supporters This season would not exist without the listeners who continue to support what we do. A massive thank you goes out to: Paul S., Dimitar D., Brad M., Andrew A., Dirk S., Hans R., Ludovic D., Jack P., Taylor D., Joe S., Michael B., Anthony S., Jeremy J., Coby, Glenn A., Nicholas J., Earl K., Al F., Adam G., Ignacia G., Paul B., Casper Y., Doug B., and Taylor O. Your support directly fuels these releases and keeps Party Favorz alive. While every donation—big or small—is deeply appreciated, it’s the steady monthly $5 and $10 supporters who help keep the engine running. Those consistent pledges are what allow us to cover music purchases, licensing, hosting, and production costs without interruption. One-time gifts help in the moment, but recurring support creates stability. Anyone who would like to contribute can do so through our official support link. Fall Throwback Dance Party 2025: Volume III
29/11/2025 | 2h 23 mins.
Estimated reading time: 6 minutes Fall Throwback Dance Party Volume III: The Moment It All Clicked Party Favorz is closing out the season with the third volume of our Fall Throwback Dance Party, and this one hits in a way the earlier entries didn’t quite manage. Volume III blends familiar classics from the ’70s and ’80s with ’90s House favorites and early-Millennium gems, but with a twist. These aren’t straight-up recreations. Instead, you get bold mashups, creative overlays, and unexpected pairings that turn well-known tracks into something entirely different. Block & Crown and their extended circle continue to work their magic by stitching together instrumentals you know with vocals you may not expect. They frequently pull in Rap or Hip-Hop verses that weren’t part of the original songs, yet somehow elevate the energy. The result feels like two different worlds colliding on the dance floor—and it works far better than logic says it should. Their grasp of what drives a crowd is why these sets land so well. It really is a case of “it takes two to make a thing go right,” and these producers prove that point with every release. A Tough Start to the Fall Throwback Dance Party Series Top Dance Club Songs of the Year 2024 Volume III | The Year’s Biggest Bangers! Fall Throwback Dance Party kicks off with Volume I, packed with 70s–90s magic X-Mas Dance 2K18 | The Essential Christmas Dance Mix 90s House Music Classics Volume 7: Keep On Movin' Summer Throwback Dance Party 2025: Volume 1 To be blunt, I wasn’t feeling the first two volumes. Part of that was on me. I’ve been in and out of the hospital twice since late October dealing with sepsis, and even though the doctors helped me through it, the medications had me foggy. My focus was shot, my energy was low, and listening to music—something I normally love—felt like a chore. I nearly shelved the entire Fall Throwback Dance Party run because the earlier mixes just weren’t clicking. On the drive home from the hospital, I revisited Volume II and felt a wave of annoyance settle in. Everything felt repetitive. The songs blurred together. Even though these producers often use templates in their workflow—which isn’t unusual for remix culture—it still didn’t land for me. With nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and every type of specialist stopping by throughout the week, I didn’t have the mental space to sit down and give the music the attention it deserved. Everything was overwhelming, and Party Favorz took a back seat whether I wanted it to or not. Thanksgiving Break: The Turning Point Thanksgiving morning, I woke up around 2 AM with a rare pocket of quiet. I opened my folder for Volume III and realized the playlist was still unfinished. There weren’t enough tracks to shape it into a full mix. Because Block & Crown and the related Funky House crew release tons of material every week, I decided to check my DJ service to see what I had missed since my first pass in October. This is where everything changed.A wave of strong releases had dropped—finally showcasing the punch, bounce, and grit that I expect from these producers. I downloaded everything that caught my ear and threw it straight into the playlist. Once I began mixing, the frustration I carried from the earlier volumes melted away. The grooves locked in. The energy felt right. For the first time in months, I felt like myself again behind the decks. Tightening the Mix The next night (again at 2 AM—apparently that’s my hour), I sat down to tighten the transitions. Many of these Funky House tracks have long outros that drag on. Beatport may categorize them as Funky House, but the arrangement leans heavily toward late ’90s and early-Millennium structure—long build-ups, long breakdowns, and long fade-outs. That style worked for club DJs back then, but modern listeners want momentum. So I trimmed the fat.I cut down repetitive endings and kept the energy moving. Track-to-track flow is everything in a Fall Throwback Dance Party set, and these edits keep things from losing steam. Why These Sets Aren’t Easy People often assume these sets are simple because they rely on recognizable songs. The opposite is true. Most tracks in this space avoid traditional breakdowns. That means I can’t always use my standard approach to mixing. I pull out techniques I rarely rely on, adjust on the fly, and shape transitions that suit the odd structures these remixes use. After producing so many Throwback sessions over the years, though, I’ve gotten fast at finding the sweet spot. What once took hours now comes together far more efficiently. That confidence helped Volume III come to life without the struggle that dragged down the earlier volumes. Looking Ahead: Holiday Edition and Year-End Plans Time is tight this year, so the Holiday Edition may or may not happen. Those mixes cost the most to produce, but recent donations have helped enough that it’s at least possible. If I go forward with it, the Top Dance Songs of the Year rollout will likely start in late December and wrap in early January 2026. I’ve done that before, and it’s the only realistic way to balance everything happening behind the scenes. Either way, Volume III of the Fall Throwback Dance Party marks a return to form, and I hope that comes through when you listen. Until the next time...ENJOY! Fall Throwback Dance Party 2025 Volume II
20/11/2025 | 2h 24 mins.
Party Favorz is back with Volume II of the Fall Throwback Dance Party mix for 2025 — and this one spanks. As promised, this set leans into familiarity with recognizable dubs woven through tracks from your past. Remixers have a real talent for pulling together different genres and decades, creating something new that still sparks instant memories. Some of these combinations hit so well they’ll have you out of your seat. A Much-Needed Medical Breakthrough Yesterday’s outpatient procedure to seal off the faulty veins in my leg was a turning point. For the first time in months, I woke up without that familiar throbbing rush the moment my feet hit the floor. That alone felt like a gift. Later this morning, I’ll be checking into Emory Hospital for a full debridement under anesthesia. Many of you saw the earlier photo I shared, so you already know how important this step is. Clearing all the necrotic tissue at once is far more effective than the four months of manual removals I endured earlier this year — a slow, brutally painful process even with medication. Why Volume III Will Be Briefly Delayed Because of this short hospital stay, the release of Volume III — the final chapter of the Fall Throwback Dance Party series — will be pushed back slightly. Even so, we’re still aligned with the rest of the year’s plans. Once I’m home and settled, the next Club Fusion installment, Jingle Electric, will be moving forward. A Tough Call About the Holiday Edition Looking Toward Thanksgiving Weekend I’m also making the difficult decision to skip this year’s Holiday Edition. It’s not just the time crunch — producing those mixes costs over sixty dollars each, and right now, that kind of expense isn’t realistic. On top of my medical bills, the avalanche of costs from my last hospital stay has been enormous. Between essential Amazon purchases and replacing a bricked phone, the financial hit has been hard to ignore. If you’ve checked the donation portal lately, you know the situation already speaks for itself. Volume III will be released the weekend after Thanksgiving. With the holiday slowing down the constant flow of nurses, physical therapists, and occupational therapists, I should finally have the quiet time needed to wrap it up. If You Want Party Favorz To Continue If these mixes have carried you through workouts, weekends, holidays, or late-night escapes — and you want them to keep coming — please consider supporting Party Favorz through the donation portal. Even small contributions help stabilize things during a year where medical demands have taken such a toll. Your support genuinely keeps this project alive. I’ll be back next weekend, and until then…ENJOY!
