Kevin Day was a Top Gun air intercept controller with hundreds of intercepts under his belt, and everything he’d ever tracked was explainable. Then, in November 2004, odd tracks started coming down from around 80,000 feet off Catalina Island. Over 10 days, about a hundred separate contacts. Then Commander David Fravor’s flight went to intercept one, and it dropped from 20,000 feet to 50 feet above the ocean in 0.78 seconds. And the next morning, Kevin says, the data was gone.

What if the biggest obstacle to UFO disclosure isn't the government, but the UFO community itself?

In this episode of UAP Files, I'm joined by documentary filmmaker Darcy Weir, who has spent almost two decades investigating UFOs, government secrecy, extraterrestrial encounters and some of the most controversial personalities in the subject.

On 22 June 2020, filmmaker and drone pilot Jay Enticknap was filming a performance on a barge at Tottenham Lock in London. Nobody on the boat saw or heard anything. A couple of months later, clicking through the footage frame by frame, he found something flying directly over the heads of the performers… and then coming back along exactly the same path. In this clip from UAP Files Podcast S3E49, Jay talks me through his footage.
In this clip:
• The one moment in the shoot when the drone was directly overhead, looking straight down on the barge
• Finding a “really quick movement” in the edit, and his housemate’s reaction when he saw it
• Using focus and the drone’s height (around 60–70 ft) to work out roughly where the object was
• What it looks like: a greenish, tarnished-metal colour, small fins front and back, and yellowish bands
• Why it seems to turn translucent as it crosses the barge, “like in the Predator movie”
• The return pass: the same flight path in half the number of frames, twice the speed
• Why Jay says it doesn’t behave like an insect, and looks almost intentional

The first director of the Pentagon’s UFO office, AARO, goes head-to-head with Jimmy. Asked about Skywatcher and Jake Barber’s claim that they can summon UAP, Dr Sean Kirkpatrick says AARO talked to them and “found absolutely nothing credible about it.” Then Jimmy pushes back on his radar explanations with the testimony of Navy pilots like Commander David Fravor.

Aran Devereux was flying his drone over Doolough Valley in County Mayo, Ireland, grabbing one last panning shot before heading home. He didn’t see anything at the time. Back home, his girlfriend spotted it on the laptop: an object rising out of the ground and shooting past the drone, against the wind. Then he found two more objects shooting off in the background.

And while editing this interview, Jimmy spotted even more UAPs in the footage that nobody had noticed before.
