  • It's what you think, but not what you fear
This was a great Zoom conversation with Lynsi Stevens, Head Witch behind Crystal Case Apothecary. Obsessed with magical devices and transformational items from her favorite childhood cartoons and anime, she distills the spirit of fantasy, mysticism, DnD, and creates medication cases for magical beings on their grand life’s journey. Her love of anime propelled her into a career in entertainment & talent management, where she was able to create anime and comic con expo marketing, programming, and events internationally. She is a queer alt model, and enjoys indie games, comics, and immersive experiences.Inspired by her own chronic healing journey, through C.C.A she assists BIPOC creatives and allies in shining their light, and co-creating a new paradigm of holistic Celestial Body Wellness with The Universe. Lynsi is currently working her magic at C.C.A, and training with the National Patient Advocacy Foundation, insuring The Global Majority receives better care from their healthcare providers.Frankly, you’re in for a treat! Lynsi will be joining us at Decolonize and Discover this year! This is a public episode. • Journee LaFond receives the BLM Community Impact Award
Last night, we took a break from our event production schedule to head to the Currier Gallery of Art in Manchester, NH, to attend the Black Lives Matter NH Awards. The annual event celebrates the amazing voices in the Granite State working to uplift BIPOC, Disabled, and LGBTQIA+ voices and representation. One of whom you may recognize… our founder, Journee LaFond. They’d probably be a little embarrassed we’re sharing the video here, but their speech brings into sharp focus what we’re trying to do with this festival. To uplift voices, share community, and come together to make great things. We hope you’ll join us June 7-9, where we’ll be able to take what’s outlined in this speech and put it into practice.
