    679. Dr. Roman Yampolskiy: 99% Chance AI Destroys Humanity

    10/08/2026 | 1h 3 mins.
Dr. Roman Yampolskiy is an Associate Professor of Computer Science at the University of Louisville, where he has spent over a decade researching AI safety, superintelligent systems, and artificial general intelligence. He is widely credited with coining the term "AI safety" in a 2011 academic publication and is listed among the top 2% of most-cited researchers in the world. He is the author of AI: Unexplainable, Unpredictable, Uncontrollable (2024), a book that lays out his case for why advanced AI systems cannot, by definition, be brought under lasting human control. He is a signatory of open letters calling for government regulation of AI development on par with nuclear weapons.

    677. Bjorn Lomborg: Yes, Climate Change Is Real. But...

    03/08/2026 | 1h 1 mins.
In this compelling episode of Heretics, I’m joined by the "Skeptical Environmentalist" himself, Bjorn Lomborg, to dismantle the current narrative surrounding Net Zero and climate policy. While the world is often told that the transition to green energy will be cheap and easy, Lomborg presents a starkly different reality: a plan that could cost trillions, lead to de-industrialization, and effectively demand that you become poorer to save the planet.

We dive deep into the data they don’t want you to see—from the surprising statistics on heat versus cold deaths to the hidden costs of wind and solar. Is the current panic actually leading us toward a political and economic catastrophe? And if Net Zero is physically and politically impossible, what is the real solution to our environmental challenges?

If you're tired of the alarmist headlines and want a rational, data-driven look at the future of our planet, this is an episode you can't afford to miss.

Comedian Andrew Lawrence reveals the stories behind his three biggest cancellations and the price of pushing comedy beyond accepted limits. 27/07/2026 | 38 mins.
The cold-blooded assassination of Jill Dando remains Britain’s most haunting cold case. At the peak of her fame, the "Golden Girl" of the BBC was executed on her own doorstep in broad daylight—a crime so clinical it stunned the nation. But was it really the work of a "loner," or was Jill the victim of a professional hitman?

In this episode of Andrew Gold | Heretics., investigative expert Matthew Steeples dives deep into the dark theories surrounding Dando’s death. From Serbian retaliation and underworld revenge to a secret BBC dossier that might have contained too much truth, we rank the most likely suspects and explore the terrifying vulnerability of public figures.

Was the real killer hiding in plain sight? We re-examine the evidence of the modified weapon, the silencer, and the chilling precision of the hit that the police may have completely misread.
