Solo ep - Finding time for homework

    04/03/2026 | 11 mins.
Nothing tests a marriage, a sibling relationship and your nervous system like homework.

One child finishes in 6 minutes.
    The other is suddenly illiterate.

If you’ve ever said “just focus” while questioning your life choices… this episode is for you.

    We’re unpacking:
✨ Why homework hits so hard
✨ Why snack + decompression matters
✨ When it’s okay to just… skip it

Because we’re not raising perfect students. We’re raising emotionally regulated humans.

Solo ep - Discipline without losing your mind, how are we doing it?

    25/02/2026 | 8 mins.
This week’s solo episode is all about how I (try to) discipline my kids.

I reflect on whether yelling is worth my energy or time and does it have the impact I was hoping for.

Whether reward systems actually work and how I’m using them to instil positive habits.

Why mapping out the day and key activities ahead of time has been a game-changer.

Whether bribery is a necessary evil, why empty threats are so easy to give and so much more.

If you’re keen to get your kids to do what you want them to do – or try to – this one is for you.

Solo ep - When one child eats everything, the other eats nothing

    18/02/2026 | 9 mins.
This week’s solo episode is all about my anxiety around meal time. Specifically my kid’s meal time.

One kid is a bottomless pit and the other has a beige diet preference.

Meaning one eats us out of the house and we’re lucky if we get 2 spoons of rice into our other kid.

In this episode I talk about how I’m trying to get my kid to finish a meal and have a well-balanced diet.

Whilst not comparing my kids to every other kid who’s eating raw capsicums.

If your life also feels a lil stress around the kid food front,
    this one is for you.
