This week we’re closing out season one, not behind the laundry door but down by the pool, because there was a full load of washing we couldn’t stop. We're airing out the mum guilt of leaving for Bangkok on Bambi’s fourth birthday, and the realisation that one of us has been keeping a secret for over 4 years...

The school holidays have started, and we've locked the laundry door for a chat that gets interrupted by a baby who doesn't sleep longer than 40 minutes. After airing out Navy's surf party and the great Friday-off-school debate, we count down six things parenthood has taught us so far. Think the relentless full time job of raising humans, parenting three kids three different ways, worry that never switches off, and whether the baby stage was actually the easy bit.
