Latest Podcast is up and running in this episode Rhyce joins me and slaps his tackle on the table :) sorry Tackle storage. We briefly touched on our tackle storage solutions on last show bit we go in depth now , from sandwich containers to slit foam tackleboxes we chat about them all (I will put some photos up so you can see the set up). Rhyce is probably the most organised fisherman I know and it was great to chat how he stores his prawns , vibes and swimbaits each system holds them perfectly in line as a bent tail can be the difference between catching and not catching.

We also chat about fishing rods and why Rhyce uses rods built by Aaron from ACM, from slow to fast taper we find out what and why he chooses a specific rod and with the barra season just under a week away we chat breifly on where to look on opening day.

On this episode Rhyce joins me to chat all things fishing , from the Hinchinbrook trip with Ryan from Hooked Apparel to fish Karumba in the Gulf of Carpenteria.

We start at Hinchy ,what we learned , what we caught and what we thought of fishing with live scope is it the bees knees and did it help Gaz catch bigger barra ?? and how big was the Queenfish that splurped Rhyces popper from under his feet

We then head up to Karumba , Rhyce and the boys had never fished up there but it didnt take them long to find out where the barra were hiding. From 80cm fish to massive 123cm horses they found them in areas you wouldnt think of. Rhyce spills the beans on lures and tactics that worked a treat for them.

Well we are back on the air with our first podcast since finishing up the radio , it has been a tough journey since losing Marty and I have finally built up the courage to start again and hopefully putting out some enjoyable content via podcast.

On our first episode NQ Fishing Show favourite Jason Masters joins me to chat about his recent trips fishing , from catching 180lb Arapaima in Thailand to remote live a board charters fishing the Nassau River in the Gulf , is it different to fishing Hinchinbrook we find out.

We also chat about the up coming barra season and have we already started planning I know I have and it includes catching fish over 50cm LOL , so sit back grab a coldie and enjoy the first NQ Fishing Show Podcast

Todays episode is up and running and its the most emotional show I have done with the passing of Marty and the need for some me time , this is our last fishing show after some 15 years of the best fun and memories you could ask for its time.

Chez and Rhyce join me for a final farewell and its time to chat fishing , do you strike or let the fish hook itself this is a question we put to Rhyce. 

One thing close to the shows heart was the fight against childrens brain cancer and working with and supporting Ren over we got to meet some amazing people one of those was Professor Maria and it was great to chat and find out the fight is continuing and getting closer to the end goal.

We chat with Dom from Shimano and checkout all the new gear they have to offer , Shimano have been great supporters of the show so it was great to thank them for all they have done, Show favorite Guesty from REEL Action TV is on the phone to chat about the upcoming series and also remember some great stories about Marty, Berkley Pro Angler Ryan Tully joins us to chat about his latest catches and also whats new from from Pure Fishing. 

The last hour was very tough with Martys family and friends surprising me and that set of the water works but we got through it. Thank you everybody who takes the time to listen to us it means the world to us and Chez Myself and especially Marty want to thank you.

Mandy joins us from Palmerville Station for a chat and as the weather warms up the Big Barra are starting to bite in the dams , plenty of gold is coming from Them Thar Hills so hopefully there is plenty left when Gaz gets up there in a months time (Will he catch a metery or will he find Gold).

Jason Masters is on the phone to lets us know what worked best on the Barra after his recent trip to the Gulf , hardbodys to soft plastics the barra climbed all over them , but which brands we find out.
