The Australian Government lied about tax changes 12 months after the election. So I invited Dave Hughes on the podcast (ex-Labor voter) who finally snapped and started investigating what else they're hiding from Australians:

→ Promised no CGT changes before the election, changed it anyway. That's not a policy shift -that's a deliberate lie to voters. It triggered Dave to ask: what else are they hiding? 

→ Billions in illegal tobacco flooding Australia while government looks away. Firebombings, cash leaving in shipping containers, every tobacconist openly breaking the law. But does government crackdown on crime? No. They tax hard-working citizens instead. 

→ NDIS bleeding billions to fraud while genuine users suffer. The amount of theft is extraordinary. Yet government does nothing -they just don't respect the money. 

→ Labour declared war on business (and it's costing Australia). This budget opened Dave's eyes to the real problem: government corruption, waste, and incompetence driving inflation in your grocery bill. 

→ The fix: drastically smaller government. Singapore runs on 15% tax. Australia needs fewer departments, fewer people, more respect for taxpayer money. Whoever wins next needs to be honest with Australians - they're over the bullshit.

We could do 1,000 better things with that money." → Banking regulation is suffocating business investment. Banks are so restricted they only fund property. Meanwhile, actual businesses—the ones that create wealth, not just passive assets - get nothing. → Narrow-mindedness and racism are Australia's biggest problems. He's lived in 5 continents. Australia's the best. But only if we stop being afraid of each other. He's publishing "The Chaos Theorem" next - a memoir about losing a child, building businesses across continents, fighting racism, and the one thing that actually changes your life (spoiler: it's not luck). His message to the Prime Minister: Be brave. Make decisions that are unpopular politically but popular with the people who elected you.
