“Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not becondemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. Give, and it will be given to you.A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be pouredinto your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” He alsotold them this parable: “Can the blind lead the blind? Will they not both fall intoa pit? The student is not above the teacher, but everyone who is fully trained willbe like their teacher.” Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’seye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? How can you say to yourbrother, ‘Brother, let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when you yourself fail to seethe plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your eye, andthen you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.”- Luke 6: 37 - 42

“But to you who are listening I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hateyou, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. If someone slapsyou on one cheek, turn to them the other also. If someone takes your coat, do notwithhold your shirt from them. Give to everyone who asks you, and if anyonetakes what belongs to you, do not demand it back. Do to others as you would havethem do to you. If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? Evensinners love those who love them. And if you do good to those who are good to you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners do that. And if you lend to those fromwhom you expect repayment, what credit is that to you? Even sinners lend tosinners, expecting to be repaid in full. But love your enemies, do good to them, andlend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will begreat, and you will be children of the Most High, because he is kind to theungrateful and wicked. Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.”- Luke 6: 27 - 36

“On another Sabbath he went into the synagogue and was teaching, and a manwas there whose right hand was shrivelled. The Pharisees and the teachers of thelaw were looking for a reason to accuse Jesus, so they watched him closely to see ifhe would heal on the Sabbath. But Jesus knew what they were thinking and saidto the man with the shrivelled hand, “Get up and stand in front of everyone.”So he got up and stood there. Then Jesus said to them, “I ask you, which is lawfulon the Sabbath: to do good or to do evil, to save life or to destroy it?” He lookedaround at them all, and then said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.”He did so, and his hand was completely restored. But they were furious and beganto discuss with one another what they might do to Jesus.” - Luke 6: 6 - 11

And he also gavesome to his companions.”Then Jesus said to them, “The Son of Man is Lord of theSabbath.” - Luke 6: 1- 5
