On today's Zero Limits Podcast Matt Morris chats with Ben "Benny" Radcliffe, former NSW Police officer and adventurer.
Raised in Lake Macquarie, Benny went to the NSW Police Academy at 18 and attested in 2007. He was posted to Waratah and spent 17 years policing across Newcastle. In his first year he was awarded the Australian Bravery Medal for his actions at a house fire during the 2007 Pasha Bulker floods. He went on to serve in the Target Action Group, work major crime scenes including murders, and serious crime. Behind the scenes he was fighting a serious chronic gut illness that nearly took his life and led him to Germany for treatment, while the trauma of the job built up. After a string of violent incidents and the loss of a colleague, he walked away from the force on his 35th birthday. Since then he has turned to the mountains. He is attempting the "Crown of Europe" and is pushing toward 100 country highpoints, the Seven Summits and the Seven Volcanic Summits, all while raising money for Emerge and See.

On this throwback episode Zero Limits Podcast Matty Morris sat down with Christopher Korfias former Australian Army infantry 2RAR dig and 2nd Commando Regiment operator.

Chris grew up in Sydney with the sights from a young age set on joining the army. In 2003 Chris joined up as a reservist however 18 months later he transferred to the regular army getting posted to the 2nd Battalion Royal Australian Regiment and deployed shortly after arriving to Timor Leste in 2006. Chris had his younger brother also serve at 2RAR and is still serving to this day as a CSM.  In 2009 Chris completed commando selection and  subsequently did two rotations to Afghanistan. On his second deployment to Afghanistan he went as a sniper in which he was involved in heavy kinetic operations.

On today’s Zero Limits Podcast Matty Morris chats with Adam Long, a Station Officer with Fire and Rescue NSW.
Adam joined FRNSW in 2003, serving at Smithfield, Blacktown, Bankstown and Burwood before moving to City of Sydney Fire Station, where he is currently a Station Officer.
He qualified as a Rescue Technician in 2005 and an Urban Search and Rescue Technician in 2012. Adam later worked as a USAR Instructor for approximately five years and as a USAR Team Leader within Fire and Rescue NSW’s internationally deployable, UN-accredited Urban Search and Rescue capability.
In 2025, after many years of instructing firefighters and rescue personnel, Adam worked as a Recruit Instructor at the Fire and Rescue NSW Emergency Services Academy.
Throughout his career Adam has responded to numerous major emergencies and complex rescue incidents, including the 2019–20 Australian bushfires, for which he received the National Emergency Medal.
In September 2023, Adam responded to a shooting at Campsie involving a critically injured casualty. Alongside two other firefighters, his actions during the incident were later recognised with the Bronze Medal of the Royal Humane Society of NSW.
In a separate incident, Adam received a Fire and Rescue NSW Individual Commendation for Courageous Action after rescuing a child who had become trapped behind security bars in a house fire.
Alongside his firefighting career, Adam served as an Australian Army Reserve Combat Engineer from 2005 to 2012 and has worked across aviation rescue, technical rescue, firefighter training and major-hazard industrial environments.
In this episode Adam and Matt talk about his career in Fire and Rescue NSW, Urban Search and Rescue, major incidents, leadership, training, working under pressure and some of the experiences that have shaped more than two decades in emergency services.

On today's Zero Limits Podcast Matt Morris chats with Shaun Preston former 3rd Battalion Royal Australian Regiment and succesful businessman.
Enlisting in the Australian Army in 2005, he completed his infantry training before being posted to Alpha Company, 3rd Battalion, Royal Australian Regiment (3RAR). He went on to deploy to Baghdad, Iraq, with SECDET X, supporting the Australian mission in a complex and dangerous environment, before later deploying to Timor-Leste following the 2008 assassination attempts on the country’s leadership. After leaving the Army, he struggled with the transition back into civilian life and bounced between different jobs before finding his way into the pest-control industry. After gaining experience in the trade, he took the gamble of starting his own company, which he spent the next 12 years building into a highly successful business before eventually selling it to global pest-control company.
