    Ep. 239 Rob Mugridge 2nd Commando Regiment

    On todays Zero Limits Podcast host Matty Morris chats with Rob Mugridge 2nd Commando Regiment 
    Born in New Zealand and raised across Australia in a military family, Rob enlisted in the Australian Army at just 17. What followed was more than two decades of service across infantry, special operations, and instructional roles—spanning East Timor, Iraq, and Afghanistan.
    Starting in the Royal Australian Regiment, he deployed on multiple operations to Timor and a trip to Iraq before successfully completing selection and special forces reinforcement for the 2nd Commando Regiment, where he served as a sniper, assault team leader, TAG operator, and special forces advisor. During his service as a special forces operator he deployed on mulitple combat rotations to Afghanistan, a PSD rotation and also deploying to Iraq during the ISIS offensive.
    Rising to the rank of Sergeant, he later helped shape the next generation of soldiers through Special Operations training, Defence Force Recruiting, and as Operations Sergeant at the Queensland University Regiment.

    Eric Atkinson is a former Australian Army cavalryman turned senior Queensland firefighter, with more than two decades of experience serving in high-pressure environments. During his military service he deployed operationally to Iraq and Afghanistan, Eric moved into emergency response with Queensland Fire and Emergency Services in 2008. He now serves as a Station Officer in Fortitude Valley, where he is responsible for leading crews and managing complex, frontline incidents.
    Outside of the fire service, Eric is a co-owner of On Track Meals, a proudly Australian-made company supplying practical, nutritious, shelf-stable meals for emergency responders, disaster operations, humanitarian organisations, and outdoor enthusiasts.     Ep. 237 Jemma Powell NSW Police Officer - General Duties

    Jemma Powell served 13 years with the NSW Police Force (2010–2024), graduating from the NSW Police Academy in Goulburn. Her first posting was to Central Hunter LAC, Maitland as a general duties constable. She then served at Central North LAC, Bourke and Central West LAC, Orange.
    Jemma responded to a wide range of complex frontline incidents—critical medicals, fatal incidents, missing-persons searches, serious crashes, search warrants and violent matters—developing resilience, sound operational judgment and decisive leadership under pressure. She was promoted to Senior Constable in 2016, served as Youth Liaison Officer in Bourke, and began relieving in a supervisory sergeant role in 2021.
    In June 2014 she took a year’s leave without pay to volunteer at a rural orphanage in Vietnam, caring for severely disabled and abandoned children—an experience she describes as both formative and profoundly meaningful. Jemma’s service record reflects extensive frontline operational experience, youth and community-focused work, and a commitment to welfare-led policing.

    Adam joined the military in 2005 first kicking off his career as an infantry solider at the 2nd Battalion Royal Australian Regiment. During his time there he deployed twice to Timor Leste.
    In 2008 he attempted and completed selection for the 2nd Commando Regiment also completing his reinforcement cycle training to receive his green beret. He deployed on numerous occasions on SOTG to Afghanistan and to Iraq. After an extensive career within the special forces Adam did a lateral transfer to the Victorian Police however after the academy he went straight to the Special Operations Group. Noting post military discharge he remained with the 1st Commando Regiment a reserve special forces unit in Melbourne.
