Understand the rich culture and history of the Dookie community and the connection between country and the arts. Play traditional Indigenous games with the Academy of Sports and Health Education staff and students and understand more about Dookie’s Indigenous Seed Bank.
CLAY TURTLE-MAKING WORKSHOP: Learn how to make a clay turtle with local artists and discover Indigenous links.
JEWELLERY-MAKING WORKSHOP: Learn how to make traditional jewellery.
FISHING AND BIRD NET WEAVING: Learn how to create traditional woven products.

Whether it’s learning about microbes and bread-making fermentation processes, tasting our famous Dookie apples, freshly picked from the Dookie campus orchard, or seeing how Australian native plans can spice up a meal, you’re sure to come away with fresh ideas on flavour. The precinct offers a variety of Dookie dining options, gourmet barbecue, specialty coffee, wine sampling and other locally sourced produce.
