    13/04/2026 | 10 mins.
Why You’re Suddenly Mad as Hell: Surviving Mars in Aries

This week we're talking about the red elephant in the room - Mars in Aries. Yes, it's a bit (a lot) war-like and yes it's kind of a worry to have this once-e-very-two-years transit taking place at a time when all the world leaders are sabre-rattling ... but what else can it mean and is there the chance of a positive spin?

The Full Moon asks: Are you giving too much? | S2 EP 164

    28/03/2026 | 10 mins.
This Week’s Astrology: Full Moon in Libra + Venus Meets Pluto

This is one of those weeks where emotions peak… and the truth comes out.

If something’s been building in one of your key relationships, this could be the moment it reveals itself. We’re heading towards a powerful Full Moon in Libra, the sign of partnerships, balance and fairness, and it’s being activated by some intense energy.

Full Moon in Libra: Relationship Truths

Full Moons bring things to a head. They illuminate what’s been hidden and ask us to release what’s no longer working.
With this Full Moon in Libra, the focus is firmly on your one-to-one relationships. That could be romantic, business or even friendships.

    Ask yourself:

Where am I giving too much?
Where am I accepting too little?
    What feels out of balance?

If a relationship is strong, this energy can deepen it. If something’s off, it’s likely to become very obvious.

Venus Square Pluto: Intensity, Power and Truth

This Full Moon comes with a twist.

Venus, the planet of love and money, is clashing with Pluto.

    This can bring:
    power struggles
    emotional intensity
buried truths rising to the surface
issues around control, obsession or self-worth

If something has been simmering beneath the surface, this is when you may finally see it clearly.

Venus into Taurus: A Return to What’s Real

At the same time, Venus moves into Taurus, one of its home signs. This is a grounding influence. It brings a desire for:

    stability
    comfort
    sensuality
real, lasting love and financial security

You may find yourself craving something more solid and meaningful now.

Mercury Trine Jupiter: Talk It Through
Here’s the good news. Mercury harmonising with Jupiter means communication flows more easily. This is your chance to:

say what needs to be said
have the conversation you’ve been avoiding
    find solutions and move forward
Even if things feel intense, there is real potential for breakthroughs.

    What To Do This Week
Notice where your life feels out of balance
Let go of old emotional patterns or relationship dynamics
Be honest with yourself about what’s really going on
Choose what feels safe, solid and true
Have the conversation, if you know it’s time

    Final Thought

If something shifts this week, trust it.

    Try asking:

What is this showing me about what I truly want?

Week Ahead Astrology: Lilith & Healing Hearts | S2 EP 163

    25/03/2026 | 24 mins.
Lilith Untamed, healing the feminine, and a powerful week of astrology

This week on the Mainly Moonology podcast, Yasmin is joined by astrologer Christina Rodenbeck, also known as the Oxford Astrologer. Together they explore the astrology of the week ahead and dive deep into one of astrology’s most fascinating archetypes: Black Moon Lilith.

If you’re feeling intense emotions, powerful insights, or a push to make real changes in your life, the astrology this week may well explain why.

The week begins with a beautiful and dreamy combination as Mars harmonises with Jupiter while the Sun meets Neptune. This energy can feel uplifting, imaginative and expansive. It’s ideal for dreaming big, visualising what you want to create and reconnecting with your intuition. Just be mindful of over-indulgence, because Neptune energy can blur boundaries and make everything feel a little bit hazy.
Later in the week the tone shifts as the Sun aligns with Saturn before forming a supportive connection with Pluto.

This brings the perfect moment to move from dreaming to planning. Saturn helps us get serious, organise our ideas and create a strategy. Pluto then adds the power of transformation, encouraging us to take action and start making real changes.

One of the most meaningful moments of the week comes when Venus meets Chiron, the wounded healer. This alignment invites us to look honestly at our relationships, our self-worth and our experiences of love. It can bring old wounds to the surface but also offers a chance for deep healing. In fact, this may be the final Venus-Chiron conjunction in Aries before Chiron leaves the sign, making it a symbolic moment for releasing long-held pain and choosing to move forward with greater self-understanding.

The conversation then turns to the larger backdrop of the year: the powerful Saturn–Pluto sextile. These two planets working together can bring real momentum for change. Saturn represents discipline, structure and effort, while Pluto represents deep transformation and the clearing away of what no longer serves. When they cooperate like this, it’s a reminder that meaningful change often comes through commitment and steady work.

Finally, Yasmin and Christina explore Black Moon Lilith, the focus of Christina’s new book Lilith Untamed. Lilith is not a physical body but a mathematical point in the Moon’s orbit, often associated with the untamed, wild or rejected aspects of ourselves. Christina describes Lilith as the part of us that refuses to conform, the raw and instinctive side of human nature that may be hidden beneath social conditioning.

The message for the week is clear: dream big, make a plan, do the work, and be willing to transform.

The Art of the Dark Moon: A Conversation with Artist Lindsay Kokoska | S2 EP 162

    25/03/2026 | 24 mins.
This week on the Mainly Moonology podcast, I’m joined by the incredibly talented artist behind the Dark Moon Oracle Cards, Lindsay Kokoska.

If you’ve seen the deck, you’ll know the artwork has touched people deeply. The response has been extraordinary. In this episode, we go behind the scenes and explore what it really takes to bring a mystical deck to life.

We talk about what happened when Hay House first approached her to illustrate a deck focused on the Dark Moon and divine feminine archetypes, especially since her personal work tends to focus on oneness, integration and the merging of light and shadow.

    You’ll hear:

How Lindsay approaches creating an oracle card deck
Working with shadow work and Dark Moon energy
The card she found most challenging to illustrate
Why Nyx became one of her favourites
What it’s really like to receive feedback from multiple editors and art directors
The balance between creativity, motherhood and commercial deadlines
How meditation, walking in nature and stepping away from the canvas are essential parts of her process
The difference between commissions and licensing for artists
Why she rarely gives faces to the women in her personal artwork
Her perspective on oracle cards as a tool for guidance rather than prediction

We also talk about astrology, lunar living, the pull of the Dark Moon, and how working on this deck deepened her own understanding of Goddess energy.

    Lindsay shares insights into:

Living between Nova Scotia and Morocco
    How place influences artistic expression
    Creating as meditation
    Trusting intuition over external validation
Making a living as a modern artist

If you’ve ever wondered how an oracle deck is actually created, or if you’re an artist yourself dreaming of bringing your own deck into the world, this conversation is full of wisdom and practical insight.

And if you already have the Dark Moon Oracle Cards, this episode will help you connect even more deeply with the energy behind the images.
