18 - From Rock Bottom to 8-Figure CEO with David Shamszad
Dave's platform centers around the pursuit of excellence despite severe adversities. He is a CEO and industry leader in the San Francisco Bay Area, who also suffers from bipolar disorder and is a recovering alcoholic. He is transforming the dialogue on mental illness and addiction and helping others rebound towards their own entrepreneurial success stories."I grew up in nineties’ Oakland with an American mother and Iranian father. As a respite from early symptoms of depression and trauma at home, I took to drugs and drinking. While a love for reading eventually got me out of trouble and through Dartmouth College, I never stopped using alcohol to treat an unknown illness. In my early twenties, after mania and depression finally drove me suicidal, I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder. A decade-long battle with mental illness and addiction ensued. But my life now is unrecognizable from its darkest days - I'm a husband, father, and the CEO of an expanding, eight-figure real estate enterprise.I've leveraged my experience with bipolar and addiction and later business success to carve out a platform in the entrepreneurialism and mental spaces. I've been featured on multiple podcasts and interviews to discuss my entrepreneurial journey in real estate, my dual diagnosis, and their unique dichotomy. My forthcoming memoir entitled Coming Up for Air tells the story of my battle with bipolar disorder and addiction and illuminates my journey to business success." - David ShamszadYou can connect with Dave and learn more about his upcoming book through his website - https://davidshamszad.com/Connect with the host - https://linktr.ee/rei.mikegDON'T WASTE TODAY AND GET AFTER IT!Connect with the host here

17 - Practicing Foregiveness
In many ways, this episode is different from the last 16 episodes. There are some similarities, as my goal is always to help you achieve your goals, but this episode will not be as "motivating" as others. In this episode, I go over six benefits of practicing forgiveness. I talk about how you are holding yourself back from success by not letting go of the past. Whether for something significant or minor, we are all given opportunities to forgive other people every day.If you live your life as someone who punishes others rather than forgiving them, this episode will benefit you greatly.Connect with the host - https://linktr.ee/rei.mikegDON'T WASTE TODAY AND GET AFTER IT!Connect with the host here
For the people that know they are meant for more but are unsure how to take that first step or get out of that rut. This podcast is for you. This podcast won’t be able to give you your reason to be motivated. What it will do is share the reasons of other successful everyday people that took that motivation and ran with it. You will learn that if they can do it, so can you.
