We weren't able to do a podcast tonight, "unforeseen circumstances" (isn't that funny for a podcast where we talk to the afterlife?) - but am rerunning one of our most popular podcasts, with the additional opening and subtitles, so people can "sing along with us." Just kidding. Here's the original liner notes: This was from a year ago.... For those not familiar with this podcast; Jennifer Shaffer is an intuitive medium who works with law enforcement nationwide on missing person cases. She does pro bono work daily for them, and once a week we get together and see what we can learn from the flipside.  We've been doing this weekly for 8 years, the last two on our podcast. I'm a filmmaker, have written and/or directed 8 theatrical feature films, a couple of documentaries.  

Some years ago, my best friend died in my arms and started coming to visit me. Instead of being freaked out by it (and her showing up to friends and family members) I started to dig into how that might be. That's resulted in 10 books (Flipside, etc) and four with Jennifer Shaffer.  In this edition, a number of people show up that we've spoken with before.

We interviewed Kobe just after his passing, it's the last chapter in the book "Backstage Pass to the Flipside 3" - where he talks about his journey, and I ask him questions in Italian. Eventually members of his family have met with Jennifer - so it's not unusual for us that he might stop by.   The construct is this; my friend who passed away is on the flipside, and has organized a "group meeting" or a class as we call it, not to teach folks on the planet, but to teach people on the flipside how to communicate using frequency, images, visualizations on the flipside.

Jennifer may get an image, let's say of a character from a TV show, and it may be their way of giving her a thought so that I could say, "Do you mean someone who shares the same name of that character in the TV show wants to speak to us?" That happens often. 

As noted, Jennifer is doing her best to translate what is coming to her. Like a translator at the UN, the people on the flipside are downloading a lot of information, and she does her best to catch the meaning, syntax and general idea of what someone wants to impart.

A number of people stop by who've been interviewed before; Prince ("I was addicted to jumping off pianos, which caused me to use pain killers"), Robin Williams ("Love Love"). Marilyn stops by - refers to something I was writing at MartiniZone.com the other day - and when I asked if she wanted to talk about the manner of her passing, she said she wanted to talk about how she had two children waiting for her on the flipside. Both whom had not come to term.    That concept has been repeated in the research - consistently.

A number of people in our podcast have mentioned it, the idea of "those we don't have are waiting for us on the flipside."  Harry Dean Stanton said the same thing - and I was able to verify it (but don't mention it in the podcast.) It's in "Backstage Pass to the Flipside."  Harry came through after he passed and before his memorial. I asked him what he wanted me to impart to his friends (as noted.)

He also said that when he passed, "He was in a room with five women" and when he got to the flipside, he was met by a "baby that he didn't have in life."   In other words, a child was there to greet him with this profound unconditional love.

At his memorial that I went to a week later, I asked someone who was with him at his deathbed to describe the scene. She said "There were five of us with him, all women."  I asked if he had said anything unusual while she was in the room. She said "Yes, he asked me to hand him the baby. But there was no baby in the room." I had heard THE SAME THING from Harry on the Flipside via Jennifer a week earlier.

At some point, the Alpha and Omega stops by - and mentions the one thing he wishes people would not do, that is "get freaked out by his name." (Jesus). I've had a number of interviews with him via various mediums, different hypnotherapy sessions, and multiple guided meditation sessions. 

As noted in the podcast, I've finished that book and am doing the audible as we speak. (SINCE THEN IT'S BEEN PUBLISHED, AS HAS THE LATEST BOOK "SHE WAS NEVER LOST" about Amelia Earhart)  

As to books by scientists about how consciousness isn't confined to the brain, I recommend Dr. Greyson's AFTER, Dr. Tucker's BEFORE, Dr. Kelly's CONSCIOUSNESS UNBOUND.  In terms of the hypnotherapy research, I recommend the thousands of case studies from Dr. Helen Wambach (RELIVING PAST LIVES) Dr. Weiss (MANY LIVES, MANY MASTERS) Michael Newton (JOURNEY OF SOULS.)  My latest book is DivineCouncils.com - where I invited 50 people, half whom had never heard of councils, who visited them, met their guides, teachers, etc.

Another fun episode. In this episode, we talk about the amazing adventure going to the set of Beyond Belief with Jimmy Church talking about Amelia Earhart. 

Amelia shows up to give her two cents about the show , then Prince shows up to remind us that June 7th is "Prince Day" - and reiterates we should dance, sing, play some of his tunes... why not? 

I ask a question to Stephen Hawking about his journey - he makes a joke about speeding away from the Epstein files... and I ask him about that as well.  Mind bending stuff. (not going down that path, but did ask him if he feels embarrassment or any reaction) - then "Five" steps in to rescue him and talk about the akashic library.

All in all another mind bending session.

Another mind bending conversation with the flipside courtesy of Jennifer Shaffer and Luana Anders. 

Conversation begins with Luana talking about telepathic conversation - how people in dreams don't see lips moving but get information telepathically.  

The discussion revolves around the new film #Disclosure by #StevenSpielberg - and how scientists still believe that communication has to be audible, instead of telepathic (which is how mediums converse with people offstage.)

Luana gives "silent movies" as an example and shows Jennifer Charlie Chaplin.  I invite him to come forward and discuss the topic, and ask her how she visualizes him (first as the Little Tramp, then how he looked at age 18 in London.)

Then he reveals that he's already incarnated, at least a portion of his conscious energy is back and he says it's with a granddaughter that I had lunch with. Mind bending. 

A discussion of Spielberg's new film #DISCLOSURE and Luana reporting that Steven has been visited by beings from other planets or dimensions that he's not yet aware of.

Also how the idea of communicating telepathically is how aliens will communicate with us, rather than using math or physics. There's a conversation about Jennifer's recent "Wine and Spirits" she did with members of her daughter's sorority from college, and the value of learning information from people offstage at such a young age.

It's another fun packed podcast talking about esoteric stuff. FIVE shows up - to talk about AI and about accessing the afterlife. Luana Anders is our moderator on the Flipside, and she breaks down what he's trying to explain.

Five is the "chief librarian" on the Flipside, the head of the Akashic records. I first met him while filming someone in Scott De Tamble's office in the book IT'S A WONDERFUL AFTERLIFE, then he makes an appearance in the book HACKING THE AFTERLIFE.

Then he started showing up on our podcast introducing himself as FIVE. "The Master Librarian" - at first he seemed busy and uninterested in our podcast. Since then, no other way to put it, he seems to like to stop by.

Prince stopped by again - and we noted that it was twice in two weeks. He wanted to talk about Prince Day - a celebration on his birthday - which neither Jennifer nor I had ever heard of.

I looked it up during the podcast and apparently it is a thing with people celebrating the Minneapolis native wearing purple and playing his tunes.

A general discussion ensued about Warren Beatty who is still every much on the planet, but is "already hanging out with his friends on the flipside." It sounds confusing but it's simply that we "bring only a portion of our conscious energy to our lifetime" and as we get older, and we need less conscious energy - the more we can hang out with our pals.

As noted, during my interview with Jack Tracey, a friend's dad who I verified details about prior to the session - he was in hospice care in Arizona with Alzheimers. However he was happy to describe what's going on - he said "90% of his conscious energy is already offstage."  He said the ten percent he's left in the hospital was like leaving a leg in the pool.

I knew Jack well - he had many homes with pools. 

Elvis stopped by as well, we asked him some questions about his journey (he was with his daughter and grandson) and he was happy to weigh in on Baz Luhrmann's new film.

You just never know who's going to show up to this podcast.

In today's adventure Prince shows up to talk about the hierarchy of the afterlife. Prince talks about how people onstage have a belief in hierarchy - which includes fame, wealth, power, etc... and how offstage there is no hierarchy.

However, offstage people respect people's "age" or how many lifetimes they've had, and the wisdom they carry.

I asked some questions about who greeted Prince on the flipside, and he said it was Beethoven. I asked him to describe that process, and he said he saw him, then was sitting next to him - and he was "playing a song in a minor key" which I assumed might be the Moonlight Sonata (In C#minor)

Prince said that was the case.  Then Jennifer's father Jim stopped by with two teachers from the flipside - one is Ma Durga who while being known on the planet as an 8 armed deity (some religious folks consider her to be 10 armed, but every time we've spoken to her it's been 8.  She said that she had incarnated once as an octopus, also as a girl on Earth - and liked being able to use her many arms for teaching purposes.

(That's what was reported.)  Five self identifies as the head Akashic librarian - and for fans of the books, know that Five shows up often in the text as well as on the podcast.

The questions and answers all revolved around the aspect of examining consciousness in the afterlife, and also the idea that AI is something that uses libraries the same way that we do when we're offstage.

Like I say, mind bending information.
